i'm looking for confirmation that the cards sent to the grave for ARA are not tributes and thusly a situation like the following would not happen:

tp plays samsara
tp plays ARA - normals are sent from deck to grave, monster is ritual summoned, and normals are shuffled back into deck.
Samsara
Continuous Spell

Monster Cards Tributed for a Ritual Summon are returned to the owner's Deck instead of being sent to the Graveyard. Then shuffle the Deck.

Advanced Ritual Art
Ritual Spell

Select 1 Ritual Monster in your hand. Send Normal Monsters from your Deck to the Graveyard whose total Levels are equal to that Ritual Monster's. Ritual Summon a card with the name of the selected Ritual Monster from your hand.

the 'tributes' that samsara is referring to, are the monsters sent from hand/field for regular ritual cards like: black illusion ritual, correct?

The problem with using Samsara with ARA is that ARA states to "send" normal monsters from your deck. Because these monsters are "sent" from the deck, it doesn't meet the requirements for Samsara because the monsters were not "tributed" for the Ritual summon. With Samsara, only if monsters are tributed from the field or hand for a Ritual summon are they sent back to the deck.

Yep. Samsara looks for Tributed monsters. Advanced Ritual Art doesn't mention "Tribute" anywhere in its text, therefore it doesn't Tribute anything. Thus no compatibility.
