Scapegoats and Lava Golem

simple question. my opponent has atleast 2 scapegoat tokens on his field. Scapegoat card states that the token cant be used for Tribute Summons. I wanna Special Summon Lava Golem to opponent's field by offering 2 of their Scapegoat tokens as tributes. Can I do it? I was in this situtation which led to a big argument and me forfeiting the duel because my opponent and an IDIOTIC spectator both said you can't. Care to verify this?

Lava Golem is a case of a Special Summon using Tributes. Sheep Tokens from Scapegoat are legal to be Tributed to Special Summon it.

To add to this question, I am assuming from the text similarities between Scapegoat and Ojama Trio, this could be done for Ojama's also?? Or am I wrong....
