secret pass to the treasures question

these are some questions i would like to know the answer to.

1: can Secret Pass to the Treasures be used ond say... armed samurai-ben kai then can the player with ben kai equip it with axe then attack directly when still equiped with Axe of Despair?

this is just another question out of curiosity
2: playerA has Messenger of Peace
playerB summons Injection Fairy Lily and attacks

question:can playerB pay for Injection Fairy Lily to increase its attack??

1) That question is answered in the official FAQ.

2) Yes you may use her effect. Messenger of Peace only prevents you from declaring the attack.

Since I'm big on quoting the rulings (and well I have nothing else to do) here is the FAQ ruling:

There is no way to have a monster with an ATK above 1000 attack directly using the effect of "Secret Pass to the Treasures". When you target a monster with "Secret Pass to the Treasures", and the monster's ATK is increased above 1000 afterwards, the monster cannot attack your opponent's Life Points directly.

but IFL can pay and attack with Secret Pass to the Treasures right? because of what densensu_x said earlier

I said IFL can attack under "Messenger of Peace".

As for IFL and "Secret Pass..." that question was answered in the FAQ as well (and if you were going to post the 1 ruling, you could have posted the rest... ...)

Could allow a pretty sweet, although very difficult, combo though:
Secret Pass + Ben Kai + Black Pendent + 3 x Horn of Light = 5000 direct attack damage. Don't think I'd try it though since that'd be 6 cards for one combo.

That combo wont work since Ben Kai would then be over 1000 attack, so the amount of cards is kind of a moot point.

No worries, I'd assumed you'd thought I'd put Horn of Unicorn instead of Horn of Light. Still, doesn't matter since, with 6 cards in it, I doubt that combo will ever be played.
