Something I call 'Rat Control'

Ok, this is a deck type I heard about from a conversation I jumped into while Judging the EEN Preview--the guys were talking about various cards and decks, and he mentioned 'Rat Control'--however he did not go in to detail on what was in it, so here is my attempt at it----

***Note the D.D. Warriors are Proxied in, cause if they work well---at Tax time.....hey you never know:D***

Looks pretty solid except the Pot of Avarice (and Second enemy) and Lightning Vortex (Edits are shown above)

Pot of Avarice is bad beginning game topdeck and isn't really that good of a card to begind with and you're running far too many warriors (D.D. Warriors included) not to be running a Reinforcement of the Army, you're actually CRAZY not to be. Maybe even a second Reinforcement of the Army if you don't think a third Smashing would do you justice in place of that horrid Lightning Vortex.
 
I like the suggestions---the PoA is dropped for the RotA-
I will play test the 3rd Smashing or 2nd a RotA over LV, but I have always perfered keeping LV--great for getting you out of hairy situations, but it is a horrible top deck.....

Any suggestions for the Side Deck---???

I am planning on using this for the regionals on Jan. 6th and 7th--
 
A few possibilities for the side deck....

With the number of Royal Decrees that seem to be gaining popularity you may want to include Reinfocements of the Army and Warrior Returning Alive in it. In this way you can side out some of those 7 trap cards that will likely be negated and bolster your ability to use your Warriors.

Another possibility is Last Will. You have a great many monsters that can be searched for and put to good use in this way.

Running 3 Giant Rats I can't help but put at least 1 Enraged Muka Muka in any deck I do so with....but I'm the odd exception <laffin> I often play cards that are rarely seen in a tournament setting.

I really like the Enraged Muka Muka idea! I forgot he was searchable.... that could be evil 1st or 2nd turn---:D
