OK, this is basically a remake of my old Spellcaster deck... I figured that since everyone is doing it, and i keep seeing them around all of a sudden, its giving me an itching to bring it back..... help me fix it up and update it for the newer meta.... thanks

as darth vader once said, "most impressive".....only comment i have is the Kazejin...i know ur decks made for all the tribute monsters, but Kazejin's pretty iffy imo....u can only activate his effect on ur opponents damage step rite?
 
I would look at the Toon Table of Contents but the Reasoning make this deck so fast, and thin it so quickly that all I can do is stick with the rest...

As for dropping Kazejin, I AM looking for a level 5 spellcaster for his spot.. I just cant remember his name ( I NEVVER CAN).. its the one that boosts its attack with each spell used, and you can use the spellcounters on it to destroy a monster on your opponents side of the field..... Chaos, I know you know this one, cuz you have told me his name a million times... I just forget it, and dont have one anymore to go get him.......Chaos Command Magician ROCKS... .. love using him cuz of all the monsters out there that have effects that are targeting, like Chaos Sorcerers... lol...
 
Magical Marionette. Much better choice. And if you'd like one I can certainly hook you up. Don't get down to Orem much but I pop in just about everywhere here in Salt Lake County, Black Rose, Endzone at Trolley Square, Game Den at Valley Fair, Press Box in Sandy, and it is too bad Century is going away.
 
How is the game up there?? pretty competitive I would imagine... How is Game Den? Ive heard they run good tourneys...... UT County has some decent game but its all the same all the time.... So Ive been looking to go up there to duel...... Where'z it at?

Game Den is a ghost town on Wednesdays (I can't remember the last time there were enough players on a Wednesday) but pretty nice turnout on Saturday morning. Tuesdays and Fridays (6:00 p.m. I think) Black Rose on State Street in Murray is fair turnout. Thursdays at Endzone in Trolley Square runs 12 spots at 6:30. But the largest game is typically Saturday afternoons at Hastur's.

Let me know when you'll be in Salt Lake.

Monsters (21)

1- Magical Marionette
1- Dark Magician Girl (this card may work, but only if you put the right cards, for example, Sage's Stone, or Magician's Circle. But u need give it a purpose)
1- Dark Magician of Chaos
1- Chaos Command Magician (I really don't like this card, it's effect is useless. Let's think on the good monster's effects that specifically designates 1 target... Exiled Force, Chaos Sorcerer... and...no more)
3- Dark Magician
3- Skilled Dark Magician
1- Breaker the Magical Warrior
1- Toon Gemini Elf (Another card I don't like. ok, it's a 1900ATK monster that discard cards when damaging opponent, but it can't attack the turn it's summoned. This is a very bad cuality because for this Fast-Attack deck is very slow. Also it makes it vulnerable to beeing destroyed by an attack or by your opponent's cards, like Smashing Ground or Hammer Shot)
1- Injection Fairy Lily
1- Reflect Bounder (I think it is useless. It has 1700, that is very poor; and it's effect needs it to be in attack position to be activated, which makes you lose LP also)
3- Peten the Dark Clown
2- Apprentice Magician
1- Magician of Faith
1- Cyber Jar(Very good card if used properly. Let's me explain: if u use it in a circunstance that isn't absolutly necessary, you may give your opponent the victory. For example you play it at the start of the duel against your opponent's 1800Atk monster, you may get only S/T cards and high level monsters, and your opponent may get a few low level monsters that will attack you directly)

2- A Hero Emerges( Why this card? Why not a Monster Gate that is faster than A Hero Emerges and also makes you sure to bring a monster to the field, unlike A Hero Emerges that may select a non-monster card and makes you lose 2 per 0 cards)
2- Magic Drain(This card really doesn't goes in this deck, because this is a Beatdown deck, not a control deck.
2- Rivalry of Warlords(i'd put only 1 copy)
2- Sakuretsu Armor
1- Magic Cylinders
1- Ceasefire

Basically the deck is ok but you may fix the details i remarked you to improve it. You may add cards like Scapegoat, Waboku, Torrential, Creature Swap and Sangan (I'm not sure of the last two). Also with the new spellcaster Structure deck you'll be able to put Magic Box of Death and Dimensional Magic. Please test the changes and infrom the results
 
Lets start with A Hero Emerges.... its there , and even though its slower, its better than Monster Gate, why should I sacrifice a monster just to bring out another if Im not trib. summoning it...
I used to use Monster Gate but it ends up being dead weight more times than not....

Now you will notice I have alot of Trib. Monsters, but with 3 Reasoning and the A Hero Emerges, its no prob at all....
DM Girl... a free tribute is a free tribute, and if it gets a boost right on
C.C.Magician, .... way better in battle than you think, plus 2400 atk
Toon Gemini.. its effect comes in handy but I would like to replace it with Kycoo .. much better effect
Reflect Bounder.... do YOU want to take the 1700 for attacking it?? its great late game
Cyber Jar, .... no worries, i know how to use this one..

basically all of the monsters have their own purpose, plus they come out quite easily... i have been honing the lineup for sometime, and this one works quite well and takes alot of people by surprise, especially since its swarming capability is so unexpected to so many people. They guess levels all day and get beat up for being wrong. Most just call 7 to keep DM off the field, that is why DM Girl comes in handy. Sages stone is great, but with Reasoning and A Hero Emerges, who needs it.... I guess what I am saying is,,,, this lineup will surprise you. If you have suggestions as to what i can use instead of those monsters to make it better , that would be great, but for now, its all i can think of, and it looks strange but has great synthesis. Especially once I have Rivalry of Warlords on the field... how many people only have 1 type of monster in their deck... ................. Pound 'n Ground attack .......
 
I have another suggestion for you, why don't you add a Torrential Tribute for field cleaning and some Creature Swap for giving your opponent your Apprentice Magician or Magician of Faith for his Jinzo or BLSEOTB(yes, I know is banned, it's only a joke). I'm telling you this because I used it with my Zombie deck and it happens to me. I know it's not the same for this deck but I suggest you to test it. Also I suggest you to put some hand-changing card as Card Destruction or Reload for the hardest situations, and the Magician's Cirlce to get the Spellcasters like DMG and Magical Marionette easier
