I know this doesn't relate directly to your deck but looking at Dark Magician, Summoned Skull, and Gemini Elf got me to thinking....something I might build myself...

Spellcaster / Normal monster deck. The options it presents are kind of interesting and does something for me I really enjoy, using cards I wouldn't normally otherwise...

Gemini Elf
Dark Magician
Mystical Elf
Aqua Madoor
Neo the Magic Swordsman

Magician's Circle
Justi-Break
Magical Dimension
Soul Resurection
Dark Magic Attack
Dedication through Light and Darkness
Skill Drain
Deck Devastation Virus

Just a thought.

Then you'll want to wait abit for Strike of Neos to be released to the TCG. There seems to be quite a few cards to support vanilla decks. (IWANNAGRADIUSSUPPORTZOMGWTFHAXOR!!!)

As for the deck here's my suggestion

-1 Gravekeeper's Guard
-1 Double Coston
-1 Gemini Elf
+3 Gravekeeper's Spy

Gravekeeper's Guard is a flip monster with mediocre defence while Double Coston's usefulness is limited due to the severe lack of 2-sac monsters. GK Spy however, fills both boots with superior defence.

-1 Blast with Chain
+1 Sakuretsu Armour

Blast With Chain is better off in a Gearfried deck. (ZOMGNAYKIDSWORDSMASTEREWTF)

cool. good ot see I am giving you some ideas for a deck John.

I tryed dark magic attack and always got that when I couldnt use it. I find it to situational.

Ojimaru thnak youf or your input. I seen gravekeepers spy in action. a good way of thinning and giving you something to defend with.

I will look and see if I have a second armor somewhere.

I understand what you mean about Dark Magic Attack. It's obviously important to keep Dark Magician out on the field. You'll notice that I listed Soul Resurrection. If you don't know what it does (you've likely never played the card, few have)

Soul Resurrection

Text
Special Summon 1 Normal Monster from your Graveyard in Defense Position. When this card is removed from the field, the monster is destroyed. When the monster is destroyed, destroy this card

So Soul Ressurection acts as a COTH for normal monsters and Soul Resurrection isn't limited. At 2100 def. Dark Magican makes a reasonable blocker standing up to Cyber Dragon. You obviously want to activate it on your opponent's turn so you can switch Dark Magician to attack position on your turn.
