Spirit Monsters and the end phase

Yata being joyously banned so long, I haven't seen this question in awhile.

If I have a spirit monster on the field and six cards in hand at the end phase, is the 6 card limit applied only at the beginning of the end phase (and then I get the spirit monster back to have 7 cards total) or is it at the end of turn I can only have 6 cards in hand?

When you end your turn, it MUST be with no more than 6 cards in hand (unless an effect states otherwise).

If a Spirit Monster returns to your hand at the End Phase and it would leave you with 7 cards, you will have to discard a card before you end your turn.

The End Phase is an area where multiple events can take place, but it's importent to remember that they all don't, neccesarily, happen all at one time.

DURING the End Phase the Spirit Monster returns to your hand. But many other things could be happening during the End Phase as well. Gia Soul - The Combustable Entity could be destroying itself, maybe a Last Will (or two) was played and now that is attempting to resolve. Everything happens, usualy in sequence, possibly in a chain, but all DURING the End Phase and before the turn ever officially ends
