I think this question applies to fusion summons and any special summons that require a tribute such as "remove a light and dark monster from play to special summon" too, but I will phrase it for synchro summon monsters.
While in battle phase, can a player attack with a monster, then later tribute that monster to allow a synchro summons while in battle phase? If so, then can the player attack with the synchro summoned monster in the same battle phase.
Also, if a turn player targets a monster, and the targeted player can tribute the monster to synchro summon a different card, is this a legitimate time that the summon can be completed, thus eliminating the target?
Thanks...
