Hysteric Fairy and the group walked down the paths of Tenshi Dime, while simultaneously looking for the Mystical Shine Balls for Venus. The area was so serene, so tranquil that you felt even walking disturbed the peace. Imagine war here. Here of all places a war took place. The thought of it was almost impossible. No one spoke for a while. It wasn't a time to chitchat. Every once and a while somebody would go touch a shining ball and say "Tenshi" but to no avail. Finally, Hikari shattered the silence.
"Hysteric, where did I live? Or rather, where did my parents live?" she asked.
"Well... I would love to show you, but"¦ I can not" Hysteric Fairy replied.
"..."
"There is a legitimate reason. You see, they lived, or you lived, across the forsaken river. No one is allowed to cross the forsaken river without Shinato's permission. It is far to dangerous" Hysteric Fairy explained.
"Why?" Chaos asked.
"Because it leads to the realm of the Fiends. And Maverik. It is too corrupt there. The only reason Aphrodite and Apollo lived there is because they were strong enough. They would have been King and Queen but they wanted a simple life. I lived there with them... I watched Hikari grow up, and that is why I vowed to protect her with my life. So is my duty..." Zoomer explained.
"Oh... So wait.. You are my bodyguard?" Hikari asked.
"Well"¦ Yeah i guess so" Zoomer replied.
"Ha, sweet I have a bodyguard. So we need Shinato's permission..." Hikari said
"TENSHI" Chaos suddenly yelled out, and lo and behold, the ball he touched floated up in the air and giggled.
"YOU FOUND ME! YAY" It said and flew off to Venus.
"That was pretty fruity... Anyway, lets keep going and talking" Chaos said.
"Hey, why is it so quiet? It is only 5:45..." Hikari asked.
"Oh well, it is Monday, and a traditional Tenshi custom is to go to the graveyards and give a moment of silence. I do not enjoy it very much, but I could show you your parents tombs if you would like..." Hysteric Fairy explained.
"No"¦ I do not think that is the best idea for me right now... Tenshi" Hikari said as she touched a ball, but nothing happened.
"Hey, what does Tenshi mean? In Japanese it means angel, so...." Chaos asked.
"Yes, the same applies to Tenshi-Gau" Hysteric said.
"Tenchi" Zoomer said and as the ball he touched dropped to the floor, on his foot and rolled into Scorpio.. Uh-oh...
"Tsk tsk tsk... Hysterica, did I not tell you not to hang around these imbeciles? Now you must pay with your soul. MUAH HAHA. No one can save you my sweet, and we are all alone" Scorpio threatened.
"Um, excuse me? So what are we a bunch of dancing elves??" Zoomer annoyingly said.
"Well... it would complete your "fairy" image... Ha.. haha... MUAH HAHAHA!" Scorpio said.
"Ok, that's it! DIMENSIONAL RIFT!" Chaos attacked!
"NO PLEASE DO NOT! YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING CHAOS!!! STOP!!!" Hysteric Fairy yelled.
"YOU DARE CHALLENGE ME FOOL??? I WILL PERSONALLY ESCORT YOU TO YOUR DEMISE!!!" Scorpio yelled.
"OH NO! CHAOS! AHHH!!! Umm... PURE SHINING LIGHT!" Hikari said.
"Ahg! NO YOU DONT! VENOMOUS FIST!" Scorpio punched Chaos in the face as he attempted a good swing at him, and knocked him to the ground.
"AGH! Uh... *spit*" Chaos exhaled...
"GRR!! REFLECTION ARMLET!" Scorpio reflected Hikari's attack back at her.
"NO! REFLECTION SHIELD!!" Zoomer now stepped in, reflecting the attack again back at Scorpio.
"AGH!" He tried to block it, but the multiple reflections made it too strong to shield, and it knocked him back into a fountain, which collapsed onto him. He was getting up when:
"HERE WE GO! DIMENSIONAL RIFT! YA!" Chaos took a swing at his chest, opened a portal and it hurled Scorpio inside.
"NOO!!! YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THE LAST O-----" he was gone...
"Who escorted whom to their doom now?" Chaos whispered to the slowly fading portal.
"Thank you guys so much... But... That was bad"¦" Hysteric said, "I think I need to lay down.. I will see you later..." She said, and fluttered off. Intense...
"Whoa... Our first fight... Well, in Tenshi Dime at least. Oh! Tenshi" Hikari said, and the ball floated up and again said "WOO-HOO!! TWO FOR YOU!!" and flew off, giggling.
"How nice...." Zoomer said, partially disgusted by the bad rhyme, partially from the fight though as well...
"Well.. One more to go" Chaos said returning, "Now that we have succeeded in killing a man and destroying the plaza, we really should go find the remaining ball"
"Yes, let us" Hikari aGreed.
"No need. Observe" Zoomer said coolly, and walked over to the ball he dropped, picked it up and said "Tenshi" It glowed, and said, "Finally! You found all three! That's it for me!" and fluttered away. Zoomer practically had an aneurysm.
"What? Didn't you already?" Chaos asked.
"Nope, I said Tenchi that time, not Tenshi. There's a difference" Zoomer explained, moving some hair out of his face.
"Well, let's go back to Venus then" Chaos said.
"Nope, I am already here with you. Good job. Here is my consent" Venus arrived and made a ball of light and showered them with it. No not that kind of shower. -_- (perverts... ~_^)
"Now our effects will?" Chaos asked.
"Be easier to use for you, stronger for Zoomer, as now he has the effect to always be in defense mode and be able to attack while in defense, and Hikari can restore your health and status when she does damage. I must leave. Go visit Mercury now. God speed, and good luck my friends. You know where to find me if you need me" Venus airily said and teleported back to her building.
"Now to Mercury, the Agent of Wisdom!" Chaos exclaimed.
"I hope he doesn't make us do a test..." Zoomer said, worried.
"We will never know if we never go so come on!" Hikari said and dashed off to Mercury's building. It had water spilling down its sides into little pools on the ground. They group aGreed on getting a little drink, and it was nice and cool. They wiped their mouths and entered Mercury's chambers.
"I am glad to see you enjoyed the water. Venus told me you were coming. So you need my consent hm? Mind you it will not be easy. You must pass through the Labyrinth of the Sphinx. I am Mercury, the Agent of Wisdom, at your service" Mercury greeted.
"Sphinx? Like, Egyptian Sphinx or Greek? Please don't say Greek..." Chaos asked very worried. Greek Sphinxes were bad.
"Ok fine. Egyptian" Mercury said.
"Really? ^_^" Chaos replied.
"No. Greek. Egyptian Sphinxes are guardians, not riddle makers. But do not worry, this Sphinx will not eat you if you get it wrong. It will instead claw at you once. If you get clawed 3 times each, you lose. The water outside will heal your wounds. Once you get clawed thrice, you cannot answer any questions. You must return here. So long as at least one of you makes it out with two or less claws, you will all get consent. I know you are not stupid, even if you look it. You can all do this so there is no need for worry. Go down those stairs to begin" Mercury dictated, and he opened a book and pressed on a page with his fingertips. A staircase appeared, spiraling down, and they followed it obediently.
As they entered the labyrinth, a warm mist greeted them. It was all a flat plane at first, but when all three of them stepped foot, walls shot up. They could see their destination: The stairs on the other side. They saw a few Sphinxes and they saw some recognizable Yugioh monsters too: Dungeon Worm, Wall Shadow and what they hoped was not Andro Sphinx and Sphinx Teleia. They didn't think it would be pleasant to be clawed by one of them...
"Lets do this" Zoomer began, and they stepped forward into the maze.
