Always wanted to make us of The Reliable Guardian. :D

Level 5-6 (3)
3 x Guardian Sphinx

Level 1-4 (17)
3 x Golem Sentry
3 x Stealth Bird
3 x Grave Ohja
3 x Giant Rat
2 x Moai Interceptor Cannons
2 x Lost Guardian
1 x Magician of Faith

Spells (14)
3 x The Reliable Guardian
2 x Chorus of Sanctuary
2 x Final Countdown
2 x The Shallow Grave
1 x Swords of Revealing Light
1 x Mystical Space Typhoon
1 x Heavy Storm

Traps (9)
2 x Continuous Destruction Punch
2 x Cross Counter
2 x Skull Lair
2 x Sakuretsu Armor

Card count = 42

Anywho, here's me trying to build a Grave Ohja burn. I'm not sure whether to have Moai Interceptor Cannons, Sand Moths or Des Koala; I put Moai Interceptor Cannons to pair better with Grave Ohja.

Also trying to see how well The Reliable Guardian and Cross Counter combo works, especially with Chorus of Sanctuary in play. That said, I wonder if Stone Statue of the Aztecs would be a good card to have in here.

Do leave comments and criticism. Again, I'm not able to test the deck anytime soon.

Edit: Changed to deck to focus more on Final Countdown than burn.

Dude....With a focus on Guardian Sphinx, I can't believe you left out Arsenal Summoner!!!! I mean, I know that he was designed for the Guardian Cards (Elma, Grarl, Tryce Ceal, Kay'est, etc.) but these two cards are not on the list, so you can use it to bring Guardian Sphinx to your hand!! So many people miss this! Oh, and since they are so easy to get into your hand, now you can always add an Exxod...if you dare.

ZOMGWTFHAXOR I aboslutely NEVER thought of that! Good spotting, mate!

*goes off to see if deck can be fiddled with*

As for Exxod... I think not. Guardian Sphinx is much more worthwhile, seeing as it can take on the brunt of a Monarch and Jinzo, not to mention being able to return them to their sender.

Updated to run Lost Guardian + Skull Lair. With Heart of Clear Water attached, the Guardian will be a tough one to get past.

To apply pressure to the oppoent to attack, I've added Final Countdown. Hopefully this can lead to a Cross Counter or Canyon + The Reliable Guardian.

I love my Guardian Sphinx deck <huge grin> Obviously it's biggest enemies are Mystic Swordsman LV2, Zaborg, Nobleman Of Crossout, and Dark World Lightning. It would be wise to side deck against these threats.

I usually run one copy of Soul Exchange or Brain Control to get out my Guardian Sphinx. Premature Burial and COTH are musts for playing a deck with 3x Guardian Sphinx and 3x Golem Sentry.
This is the one deck where I play The Shallow Grave as well.

Other things I've included in the past that have worked well in my Guardian Sphinx Deck are Giant Trunade & Hino-Kagu-Tsuchi. With EVERYTHING in your opponents hand due to Guardian Sphinx and Giant Trunade, a hit from Hino is deadly.

I think the only way around Mystic Swordsman LV2 and Nobleman of Crossout would be Ceasefire. And every deck made has to have some kind of contingency against the Monarchs.

I'm not too keen on having Call of the Haunted or Premature Burial in this deck, eventhough the Flip-down effect abuses them severely. I would prefer to leave my dead in the grave to fuel Skull Lair. Of course this is speaking without prior experience.

And as much I absolutely love using Hino-Kagu-Tsuchi in a bounce deck, he's just way to expensive to bring out for one turn, where the next leaves you defenceless.

That's where Destiny Hero - Double Dude can come in handy. Sure... let your opponent destory him. Then you get 2 tokens on the field during your standby phase so Hino away!

Also, Spell Shield Type-8 works very nicely against Nobleman of Crossout and Divine Wrath will stuff Mystic Swordsman LV2.
