This deck will make your head spin

Legendary Alpha

New Member
Hello everyone, I am new to these forums, but not new to the game of Yu-Gi-Oh! After moving and judging my local tournaments I have returned to being a competative player. In two months have have worked up to 15th in state and today I will bring you one of my original creations. A deck that will make your head sping, heres the line up:

Monsters:

Dark Magician of Chaos
Mechanical Hound
Jinzo
Dark Ruler Ha Des
D.D.M. - Different Dimension Master

Spells:

Monster Gate x3
Reasoning x3
Dimension Fusion x3
Messenger of Peace x2
Swords of Revealing Light
Brain Control x2
Soul Release x3
Autonomous Action Unit x2
Card Destruction
Mystical Space Typhoon
Heavy Storm
My Body as a Shield x2
Spell Economics x2
A Feather of the Phoenix

Traps:
Magical Explosion x3
Sakuretsu Armor x2
Gravity Bind x2
Exchange of the Spirit

Ok well theres the list, and for a lot of people I bet this deck confuses you. Well heres a in depth analysis as to how it works.

Monster:

If you notice I only play 5 monsters, all of which are level 5 and higher. But theres two ways these monsters work. One is one nasty lock. When Dark Ruler Ha-Des, Jinzo, and Mechanical Hound hit the field through Soul Release/Dimension Fusion its near impossible to stop them. The second way these monsters work is D.D.M. Different Dimension Master and Dark Magician of Chaos. I can use to use Dark Magician of Chaos more than once a turn.

Spells:

Dimension Fusion and Reasoning are the two big Spells in this deck. Almost any game that I pull off Reasoning this deck wins.
Reasoning in this works is that after it has worked I will then proceed to Monster Gate the Monster to continue eating through my deck to the point that here is barely anything left of it and all 5 monsters are in my graveyard. This is were Dimension Fusion comes in, along with Soul Release it can bring all 5 monsters out to the field in one shot. The rest of the spells you will have to play test yourself ;).

Traps:

Exchange of the Spirit and Magical Explosion are two of the three win conditions of this deck. Certain spells like feather of the Pheonix are used to give me access to them if Plan A (The really big monster lock) fails. And through Reasoning and Monster Gate, there is almost always more than 15 cards in my graveyard left, which will call for a really fast deck out. And through playtest, I can tell you that the Magical Explosions have hit for 4000 plus damage.

Well theres the deck and the analysis. Hope you enjoyed this first article of mine. Look for more of them. And this deck is open to all the critiquing and criticism that you want. Peace out for now.

Hey, let's all pick on the new guy and tell him his deck sucks!!

*waits for someone to flame him*

I'm kidding, of course. Honestly, this is one of the best decks I've ever seen. I'd say it would be flat out perfect if you dropped A Feather of the Phoenix for a Blowback Dragon. Also, I'd appreciate it if you'd take a look at MY low-monster deck, called "For God's sake, stop making new decks!"

It looks very strong indeed. My own heading is spinning with potential ideas...mind if I try them out? I'd be using some of your ideas here. Not to the full extent, but as another twist in my strange Des Frog deck.

That monster lineup is just about perfect. I'd love to see this deck in action.

Welcome to CoG!

Yea, but since this deck runs an offensive part that really does depend on either Reasoning or Monster Gate I can not afford to but anything other than beat sticks in it, like I said before, through playtesting I found that Reasoning hitting the wrong kind of monster can cost me the duel.
