Tomato Control

Inuyasha_Riku, Magical Merchant works here because of Pot of Avarice, it gets 5 monsters in the graveyard very fast, but I was surprised seeing that and no Chaos Sorcerer, but it's still fine.

Tomato Control of this calliber needs a Creature Swap, swap your Tomato, smack your tomato +1 +1 here and there Don them, and so on.

I took out 1 Reinforcement of the Army and 1 Widespread Ruin. Mainly because you're trap heavy and a Jinzo or Royal Decree would destroy you. And you should run 2 Widespread Ruin and 3 Sakuretsu Armor when you are really trying to protect something (Preferably Dekoichi, but that's not in your main deck.) Also Newdoria works harder than Exiled Force in Tomato Control, you get it with Tomato and it's already a bother to your opponent, especially when they attack that tomato with a Mobius or Cyber Dragon. So they will either waste a Smashing Ground or something on that Newdoria, or kill it with Cyber Dragon, either way they kill it, it's a +1 for you. And 3 Spirit Reaper's isn't very necessary, it's not bad, but a second Newdoria is more benefitial. I like the deck and I refuse to comment about Side-Decks but I think you should consider Waboku instead of Magic Cylinder, due to OTK. :|

yea but i just assumed he was just going for a tomato control not a tomato chaos control...Magical Merchant wont ALWAYS get 5 monsters in the graveyard that fast but since he has so many i supoose it would work for his deck...whatever...im just making suggestions based on my experiences with tomato decks...

haha..thanks n....interesting...u went pretty far with a Relinquished deck...how did that go?
Well it went pretty good. Lost the 2 round that i did becuase of well, just my own personally errors. Lost the last round making me 6-3 becuase i got DQ'd for forgetting to unside from the previous match, ><. So I should have gone 7-2, but o well, all learning experiences.

awww..that kinda sucks...reminds of a time when i was playing in a tourney final and almost got dq'd because of an accidental Dark Hole in my side deck(i was playing a traditional format duel the day before the tourney and forgot to take it out) during an advanced tourney(the first ban list). i still got second in the tourney tho coz i lost in the last round...but i guess we live and learn...

i really dont want to use the [ycard="DB2-EN190]Creature Swap[/ycard] combo with the tomato, cause i HATE top-decking that card, lol. i like using the [ycard="PGD-057]Newdoria[/ycard]s in this deck. they do add a little bit of frustration for my opponents. i did try out using the zaborg and the mobius in here by loosing one reaper and it did help. and merchant is in here for pot and draw power. i didnt want to run the sorcerer in here cause of the whole bad synergy between sorcerer and pot, and pot isnt leaving this deck. i have had too many times where i have run sorcerer and pot and have had no monsters in the graveyard for either one.

Tomato Control is never supposed to have 3 Reapers in it, or 3 Cybers. Drop 1 each for DDWL and a Strike Ninja. It's growing to become great tech in this current format, shown by Bremen and the abuse of it. Also add 2 Bazoo over a Don and Exiled. That's a more solid monster line-up.

For spells, you need a WMC. I'm sorry to everyone I tell this, but WMC is amazing in every deck. Should be staple. Early game, it's god. Late game, not so good. But mid-game is when it shines the most, even with all of the removal.

And traps:
- 2 Ruin
- BTH
+ 2 RftDD
+ 1 Newdoria
Return from the Different Dimension is solid gold in this deck since I added Strike and 2 Bazoos. Newdoria is a solid 1 for 1 trade, and it gets rid of pesky monsters that usual removal cards can't: Ones that didn't attack it. Very versatile.

Keep in mind. This is a Tomato Control deck. Not a RFG deck. ;)

WMC isn't staple, not close. It's a good card, but it's terrible topdeck.

Once again, all you did to this deck was make it a different deck. With your edits, it's no longer Tomato Control.

Actually it's just added in an archetype: RFG. Believe me. Tomato Control is in here. You just think Bazoo and Strike changes the deck, which it doesn't. It makes it better. =\

There is some merit to your statement. I guess its Tomato RFG Control. lol. Still, all in all, works nicely.
