okay, I was talking to Tim not so long ago and we ended up with talking about dark world. Since I recently droped from the TCG game and phased to the OCG, I can understand what cards are decent, which are good, and understand they simple reasons why the TCG meta never changes.

so the following is actually something I call the Untouchables.

The basic build is using the whole Dark world to your advantage with Dark Deal, not to mention for punishment, we have Elephant Statue of Disaster.

what better way to make your opponent stop using Hand Control, than making a deck were handcontrol is more a con than a pro. Yes, Mai (IFL) is probably kicking and screaming about how she loves Reaper, well Reaper will now have to become side deck material.

Also, take a good notice at the trap line up and spell line.

MOST of it is for punishment.

Opponent plays Heavy Storm, you chain with some Blast with Chain.

opponent thinks they can kill your poor Kaiku, well activate that Blast with Chain and teach them a leason they wont forget.

The array of Flip effect monsters in this deck is outrageous.

So.. what better way to make good use of the GOld and SIlver than to pop them with Deck Devestation Virus.

Initially, in the OCG I pop the minis with Deck Destruction Virus of death to get rid of all the 1500 + but in this deck, we can make the risk of doing 1500 - . lol


For the most part, if you really want to try out something you will love to play and opponents hate to play against, this should be for you. :)

I might make a OCG counter part to this, there are some blast spheres i want to add but cant cause TCG doesnt have them. :D

also, who runs Waboku? come on..

and we all know that you playing darkhole will then turn into, the opponent discards 1 card randomely from their hand.

and you pick the Elephant Statue of Disaster to lose 2k.

go figure.

lol. Trust me, I am the hand control master. all I ever used was 3x reapers and 1x Mefist the Infernal General.

heck with the boards help we even made Solitude the Movie, which is actually a hand control / anti deck.

search for it on the boards sometime. you will be surprised.
 
what will it do?

Think about it, Elephant statue of Destruction is an effect damage, so Waboku does nothing, and even if you activated Waboku, why would I attack?

most likely i would implode the GOld and Silver so that you start loosing all your wiener cards.

In the situation, the best counter for a Dark WOrld deck is something that can stop special summon, but that then means that you will be killing your self to kill your opponents deck.

trust me, your far better out, NOT using hand control against Dark world than using it.

best side deck for it would have to be some higher 1501 creatures and above. possibly a few Chaos Sorcerers, maybe even ritual monsters like, Goddess of Extermination or King of the end or Reshef the dark beign.
 
okay on the subject about side decking against those friggin Dark world decks...... Bazoo works.. honestly Id actualy side in 1 or 2 RFADD and add in 2 Bazoo tge soul-eaters.. I could do it with my deck actualy... Just remove Chaos Sorcerer, 1 Spirit Reaper, Confiscation and something else.... taht would work.... *sigh* Id have to stoop to your level of playing then in order to beat you

There is no such thing as a real "counter" for Silvva and Goldd (Banisher of the Light hardly counts...). The best you can do is try not to run headlong into a Dark Deal and try to NOT slam them with Reaper (he is a meatwall in this case, not a hand control beastie). don can still be used, just top 2 'em instead. Either way...this deck is awfully nasty. It's all "I will counter the meta...wha' chu gonna do about it?

However...Morph and Wok pretty much suck. Morph has no point in this deck, and Wok does nothing...at all. Ever. If you are looking to save your monsters from Smashing/Snatch Steal/Vortex/etc. Compulsesory is a much better choice. Also, you might want to try Acid Trap Hole in here, so that after you Creature Swap them the Morphing Jar they don't even have the opportunity to sac it. It just flips, you discard your fistful of discard hate, and you eat them alive.

and the reason why you dont see the deck in works, is becuase nobody has joked metagame yet for their build, which is yet public since we all know Metagame is what makes the Meta not the players.

no there are counters.. and their fairly simple.

dont use any form of hand control and start using field destruction.

decrees can easily stop the Dark Deal and so forth.
 
what for? thats just over doing it with raw power, you already have enough monster destruction why the raw power that cant attack an opponent?

If you can survive your dead/situational cards, you have a legit chance to win, otherwise hand advantage will most likely favor opponent.

Think about it, what do you consider hand advantage.

having what, Confiscation, reapers, don, Reinforcement of the Army, Tsukuyomi.

thats not hand advantage, thats just a bunch of card that they have that havent been able to use because the situation doesnt favor them.

you know when hand advantage was something? back when the last ban list didnt have Graceful and Pot dancing with CED and Yata.

now all it is, is situational cards that the situation has to favor in order to work.

tell me how many times have you toped decked a nobleman of cross out and all you have on the field is nothing.

and your hand is nothing but that one nobleman of cross out you just drew and your opponent is pumbling in on you with 2 1800 hitters.

I'm not even going far fetched as to double 1300 or 2400 or even 2100.

The thread is just a blue print, the architectual design for a building that is yet to be built by the person whom wants to use it.

you cant just put your self in a sitaution that most likely will or will not happen.
 
krazykid, that was just plain ranting by you, hand advantage? tell you the truth, i don't top situational cards like that very often. what I am saying is that your deck has a greater number of those cards. Your rant misses the entire point of "dead" cards, cards that tend to be more useless than helpful. Hand Advantage is pretty much what tips the scales in your favor now, especially without draw powers. Why? Its a matter of hand management, you can always do more with more cards in hand.
