What to do with 4 billion points ...

I was bored and I looked in the ol' bank. Apparently I've accrued quite the fortune in points here. (Points upward to his profile).

What exactly does one do with 4.5 *billion* points, anyway?

Anyone who wants to try and steal 'em, go right ahead ... hope you don't fail, though ... hehehehehehe
 
I'll pay you $1000 for them. You'll have to meet me in the YVD char toom so we can exchange and...

...oh wait, that reminds me of a Foxtrot comic, I'll have to scan and post it sometime 8^D
 
I once stole 1 point from a member at the cost of a couple of hundred each attempt. Took two attempts. Didn't make a lick a sense, but it was funny.

Yeah, we need to do something with these points systems that's practical and appealing.

Generally from activity, but there are other ways too.

My points are so high because I've had them in the bank for like 2 years gaining interest, and the interest rate is pretty darn good.

Here .. have a million for .. well, because I have too many!!!!

I'm afraid I'll have to beat that 4 billion of yours, djp952. My thing says 1009 billion, although it might have messed up slightly. Last time I checked, though, I had 41 billion in the Bank (which I since withdrew to show off). I think there's been a bank error in my favour, collect £50.

I'm impressed -- it took this country 50 years to lose that much money, now we know where it all went :D <phones Washington>

Yeah there really has to be some way to get rid of the points. Something to use them on. Or at least set some kind of maximum limit.
 
I'm open to suggestions. Really.

The Custom Avatar thing really only works for regular members, since staff and mods already get that privilege by default. Maybe we should have made to where you had to buy a custom User Title, but, eh, we're too far past that for that to work. I'm really at a loss for ideas on this one.
 
Why not some sweet signatures made by COG, or some secret avatars.I don't know something that makes even more wothwhile to post.

Ive waited so long to get myself a custom avvie. Damn its expensive. Took a while to work too.

But yeah maybe just have special areas ya can buy entrance to or something like that.

Absolutely. But you have to come to Maryland, USA to get it :D Doesn't seem cost effective to fly overseas for 12 cans of Dr. Pepper, unless of course you REALLY REALLY want some :p
