Zombie Control V 2.0

You might not have to come to terms with what I have to say, but, this deck is good. You should consider:

Ins:17
1 Spirit Reaper (Hand Control I believe is important, pre-negating)
2 Ryu Kokki (Pyramid Turtle)
1 Jinzo (staple)
1 Change of Heart (good card)
2 Creature Swap (Pyramid Turtle combo, have 1 Pyramid T. attack the swapped Pyramid T.)
2 Smashing Ground
1 Swords of Revealing Light
3 Dust Tornado (spell/trap removal)
2 Sakuretsu Armor (good card)
1 Torrential Tribute (main deck)
1 Snatch Steal (good card)

Outs:16
2 Book of Moon (dont really need it)
1 Compulsory Evacuation Device
1 Gravity Bind (You can do without this card)
1 Blast Held by a Tribute (too situational)
1 Tutan Mask
1 Regenrating Mummy (you won't get the effect as often)
1 Fear from the Dark (you won't get the effect as often)
1 Call of Mummy (you really only need 1)
1 Despair from the Dark (don't really need it, your choice)
3 Soul-Absorbing Bone Tower (cuts down the opponent's deck too much, bad draw, the effect isn't groundbreaking)
1 Back to Square One (bad hand mangement)
1 Vampire Lady (not enough power)
2 Metamorphosis (most of your fusions are 5-6 stars, only Scientist can bring em out easy, but you dont have that many options when you play Metamorphosis)

Try changing your deck around.

Try considering some Royal Keeper(s)

Hope I helped.

strike ninja's changes are good, but add only 1 creature swap and 1 dust tornado - you don't need too many dust tornados, 2 will do. don't add another spirit reaper - 2 is enough in a deck. keep a regenerating mummy, a book of moon and a tutan mask. blast held by a tribute should go in your side deck - its really great against decks with many tribute monsters

This is not flaming or anything just stating what I see and adding personal opinions. (Insert standard legal disclaimer here, blah blah blah.) :)

So far here's what I noticed. Ninja, no offense, but you didn't quite see the list of what I have in there. There is no "Fear from the Dark" in the deck at all. Regen Mummy is more of a beatstick than effect.

Metamorphosis. I have 2 to use Magical Scientist bring out Sanwitches to morph into something better like Dark Blade Dragon Knight or Ojama King for further control options.

Royal Keepers aren't worth using as the def boost only happens AFTER damage calc so an 1800 beatstick will kill it. Soul Absorbing is run in 3's as with all the recursion I don't necessarily have to destroy their LPs. I can run their deck out. Plus with two or more out there it's a command knight type lock. I already have one Creature Swap, so two more would be illegal. They are semi limited. Despair has come in handy, not to mention it's a great discard if you have Book of Life in hand. Vamp Lady just fits the Deck Destruction theme. Normally I have DNA Surgery in the place of Blast, as turning EVERYTHING to zombies means any opponent's premature or call triggers the towers. And it also hinders the use of TIV a lot. It is actually quite devastating to run through half of an opponent's deck in one turn... I've done it (evil laugh)

Soon I will release version 3.0 once it is conformed to the 10/1 ban. This was a year old so it shouldn't be far off the new list coming.

usually my "theme" decks I try to keep as pure to the theme as possible. This one strays with the random extra monsters to help it deal with Horus, etc. Regens are in there as an 1800 beatstick, plus here some people actually play Morphing Jar, Card Destruction, and Needle Worm. So the Regens and Despairs pay off more often than not. I won a match just last night by using Dark Deal to counter my opponent's Brain Control to summon Despair. (Dumped the rest of my hand, 2 cards, to Vortex his field.)

Hey thanks for that; I'd not thought of IRS.
Last night I used Book of Life to summon the first Bone Tower with my opponent only having Jinzo on the field. I then used IRS to bring out the other 2 Towers. Then proceeded to use a second book on a Turtle. Already at least 8 cards dumped from my opponents deck right there. Plus I actually had the Clock Tower out with about 10 counters, so I rammed my turtle into Jinzo to get the next turtle...wash, rinse, repeat... then got Ryu with the 3rd turtle to suicide into Jinzo. Resulted in ANOTHER 18 cards off the deck for a total of 26 when said and done.

Keith, what do you have when Darrell has Horus LV6, LV8, King Dragun and Royal Decree out? Just curious. There are only a few cards in the game. I use Lava Golem and Guardian Sphinx. Might want to think about it, he's updated his deck and it's meaner than ever.

well on Tuesday I beat him 2-0. He never got them out. I would probably use Spiritualism to return the Decree to his hand, then have Torrential ready or once you Spiritualism his decree, get Mirror Force ready. That could be a life saver. With my deck I'm cycling cards out of his deck before he can get to them. I finished him morphing my Despair from the Dark into Cyber Twin for a double-whammy.

Anyone else have suggestions? or opinions if they like it or not?

Will use this as one of my "anti-cookie" decks applying for the Collective.
