    Fusion Deck limit

This is indeed the official tournament policy. You can only have up to 20 different Fusion Monster Cards in your Fusion Deck, and then up to 3 of each. So, the Fusion Deck limit is 60 cards.

    Spirit Barrier Question

"Spirit Barrier" does not prevent your monsters from being destroyed in battle.

    Harpie Lady Sisters

No ill will was meant towards anyone affiliated with the creation of the Card Registry, if that's what it seemed like. Sorry, bishop, if I implied that at all. (Also note that my posts in this thread are my own -- I'm speaking for myself, and not for UDE as a whole.) All I was alluding to...

    Harpie Lady Sisters

The errata for "Harpie Lady Sisters" has indeed been removed. As such, "Harpie Lady Sisters" is not a nomi monster, despite what the misleading picture on netrep.net's Card Registry may lead you to believe. The actual Dark Beginnings version (DB1-EN146) was printed as follows: This card...

Airknight - difference UDE and NetReps

For a very good and detailed look at the Damage Step, look no further than Kevin Tewart's Damage Step Chart, which is located on the Judge List at this URL: http://lists.upperdeck.com/read/messages?id=1757 I hope it helps! Oh, and if you wanna get a quick answer on how Airknight Parshath...

    cannon vs ring

Unfortunately, that would not be legal. And not because the "timing is off," but because there is no longer a valid monster for "Bottomless Trap Hole" to affect, making this a "kara uchi" situation (the BTH cannot be legally activated -- if it was accidentally turned face-up, it returns to its...

    Archfiend of gilfer

Correct, because in both of those instances, the last thing to happen is the effect of "Magic Jammer" or "Raigeki Break," and not "Archfiend of Gilfer" being sent to the Graveyard.

    The Legendary Fisherman

That's funny, I don't recall "The Legendary Fisherman" being a Vs. System card. =P No worries, though, I'll move your thread to the correct forum for ya.

    strike ninja special summon?

Nope, it is simply counted as returning to the field; it is not counted as a Special Summon.

    Bottomless Trap Hole/Targetting question

Pretty much the only reason why "Bottomless Trap Hole" is not considered a targeting card is because it is possible for multiple monsters to be affected by it ("Cyber Jar," "The Flute of Summoning Dragon," etc.).

    Re: [judge-yu] New "Clearer" Terminology

As Kevin said, "Ignition Effect" is the most accurate way of translating the Japanese term for that type effect. Additionally, this is important to note: It was either change to "Ignition Effect," or not change at all and keep it as "Cost Effect." Konami wouldn't let us change to anything...

Compulsory Evacuation Device vs. Creature Swap

"Breaker the Magical Warrior's" effect is a Spell Speed 1 Ignition Effect, and so when the turn player has priority, they can choose to activate its effect, assuming "Breaker the Magical Warrior" was already on the field. Of course, if "Breaker the Magical Warrior" was the just-Summoned...

    Battle Position

I thought I already made it clear enough in my post, but if you needed more clarification, that's cool too I guess... I'll confirm the answers for you yet again, for the hell of it: 1. No. 2. No. A Flip Summon is a change of battle position, which TER prevents you from doing. 3. No...

    gearfried + butterfly dagger combo

Well, "Hallowed Life Barrier" only reduces damage done by your opponent, so that wouldn't work. Now, "Barrel Behind the Door" would work as well, but I think it's pretty fun to use "Mystik Wok" after raising Marionette to a ridiculous ATK value.

A quick ruling that i've looked around for...

If you're looking for this to be answered officially, this forum isn't the right place to do it. Might I suggest posting your question to the UDE Judge List instead? And incidentally, what the.wise.duelist posted is correct. The Fusion Deck is not public knowledge, and cannot be seen by...

Compulsory Evacuation Device vs. Creature Swap

Heheh...Stealing thunder, that's what I do best, spots! ;) Oh, and John: It's not so much that I'm not allowed to (though that has something to do with it), it's that I also don't want to yet. Yes, all the various talk about priority during GenCon SoCal last month just made me less...

    Curse of Fiend

Oh, and by the way...Answer'd! http://lists.upperdeck.com/read/messages?id=3043 Enjoy. :) Edit - Granted, Dillie-O and spots both covered it already, but if you know any stubborn people that only believe what they see on UDE's site and the Judge List...well, there ya go! ;)

    amphibious bugroth

Woltarr, I thought you would've at least checked UDE's Specific Card Questions and Answers page first. Then, you wouldn't have needed to post your question in the first place: "AMPHIBIOUS BUGROTH MK-3 When "Umi" is on the field, and "Amphibious Bugroth MK-3" declares a direct attack, and...

Compulsory Evacuation Device vs. Creature Swap

Your opponent will have priority to activate "Magical Scientist's" effect once. Of course, this merely puts its effect into Step 1 of the chain; although you don't get to activate something first, your effect(s) will be the first to resolve. So, if you use "Ring of Destruction" on "Magical...

    Team Format?

Upper Deck Entertainment does not have an official Team Duel format, and does not provide any rules for playing such a format. Anyone that has told you they got their rules for it from UDE was either lying, or was grossly misinformed. However, several websites have unofficial rules available...
