Team Format?

Are there any rules anywhere that give guidelines pertaining to team duels? I've never heard of it, but the acting judge of the card shop I used to go to swears that she recieved info from UDE concerning it.

I just need some info and clarification on the situation because these team duels are popular amongst kids at my local Books-A-Million. There seems to be some sort of regulation happening, but I would like to know if UDE is responsible or not.

Upper Deck Entertainment does not have an official Team Duel format, and does not provide any rules for playing such a format. Anyone that has told you they got their rules for it from UDE was either lying, or was grossly misinformed.

Thanks for the info. Chock another one up for the "Crappy Judges that Like to Make Up Rules as They Go Along". My area is notorious for having really bad judges like this. It's one reason why all the shops and tournament spots in the area closed down.
