Weird...I just got a package today (delivered to my old address), and it had three VS deck tins, one of which had an EA alternate art Acrobatic Dodge inside. I wonder if they're doing a separate mailing for VS judge rewards and YGO judge rewards.

I'd rather see a Ritual spell that didn't require the Ritual monster to be in hand when you cast it, so that Rituals would be more playable.

The sponsored team is usually expected to wear something with the store's name on it too, and it probably also helps to get a team profile or a picture on Metagame, for extra exposure. And yeah, winning or placing high is also a big plus.

No idea...maybe the list of "B"'s got lost somewhere under a stack of paperwork? No big deal though, it'll get here when it gets here, and I still have plenty of Pro Circuit swag that I need to sort and find homes for anyway.

I haven't gotten any mysterious packages yet, but I heard all the way at PC Atlanta that they've been rolling out judge rewards mailings, so I'm glad that more guys are getting them. Now, judging at Gencon this weekend...that netted some rewards :) Tweo boxes of Heralds, two boxes of WOW...

Yeah, those numbers make more sense. The 10K in Austin back in May had 76 in the 10K, then I think 15-20 in a Sealed PCQ, 18 in Constructed, and then 10-12 in a Scholarship tourney on Sunday. Since UDE determines the prize structure for 10K's, cash is guaranteed to the Top 24, and Top 64 get...

No way was it a 10K with 5 people, more likely a PCQ, which can have low turnouts if the TO doesn't promote it well.

The point swings are also dependent on the ratings of the people you played against...you get fewer points for beating the tar out of someone with a low rating. The event level and judge level just denots the maximum amount that a rating can shift with a win or a loss... ...not that Yugioh...

I played an Ojama Trio lock deck (with Spatial Collapse and Kaiser Colosseum) that I took to a 4-1 record, then lost a really close (but really good) Round 6 match. After that, my brain was just about fried. My deck takes a lot of thinking to play, plus I hadn't had much sleep and we missed...

We tried to go, but we got there at 10 am and they didn't give them away until noon. By then, we were playing in a VS PCQ, and no one wanted to drop just to go get them. Simon, you should hook me up with one at Austin :D

I think he's just asking if he can use Future Fusion to put the X, Y, Z monsters into the graveyard, not if XYZ Dragon Cannon can be summoned with Future Fusion. It seems that it would be a legal play, that the X, Y, Z pieces would go from the deck to the graveyard, then when Future Fusion...

I think Creature Swap will take the place of Snatch Steal, either using spent flip effects or Asura Priest for the bait.

I tried to take the L3 at Gencon, but Rune said that they haven't finished the new test yet. I'll have to try to get out to Anaheim in November, and hopefully tackle the VS L3 as well.
