    1. Yes. Cards are not sent to the graveyard until the entire chain has resolved, unless a card's effect destroys it in one of the link's resolution. So yes, you may set a card. 2. As many as possible. If 3 are RFG, special summon all 3. If more than 5, select 5. Marauding Captain = Trigger...

    What decks do you run?

    Ghandipants is a deck that involves decking out the opponent with Needle Worms, and Morphing Jar 2s. The name was first coined by Tim Willoughby on Metagame.com http://www.metagame.com/yugioh.aspx?tabid=33&ArticleId=4744 His good friend Mike Rosenburg used an adapted verision at Long Beach...

    I'm not the only one. I believe the following also passed their L3 tests: Raymond Purnama (TwInSeN21 on Pojo) Jonathan Castellanos (TheRockBoS on Pojo) Simon Key (skey23 on COG/Pojo) Congratulations to them as well.

    Prior to taking the L3 test, I was a L2, having passed at SJC San Francisco in Dec 2005. My "new" card I received a few months after that still had not been updated for some unknown reason. So I'm thinking I'm never going to get a Judge card with the "2" slot bubbled in and jump from 1 to 3.

    Thank You. I would not have been able to pass the LV3 Rulings test without the help and guidance of Simon Choy, Ray Purnama, Khoi Nguyen, Jonathan Wan, Jonathan Hau, Jeremy Treanor, Cascade Games' Tim Shields, Dave Noble, Justin Ruby, RONIN, the Judges' List, other fellow judges whom I've...

    Organizational Skillz

    I have an excess of commons, most of which are from the newest sets. Prior to CRV I had sorted out my cards by type and subtypes, splitting them into Monster, Magic, and Traps. The Monster cards were split into 4 different types: Normal, Effect, Ritual and Fusion. The first two types were...

    Rookie: LV 3.0 I wonder how long I would have to wait until I may access the LV3 Judge List. Everyone in there must be at least a LV 3.5

    "Don't Stop Till You Get Enough"

    I collect Rescue Cats. It started way back when FET was released. I bought so many packs at the time and found that these kawaii kitties were actually good (and one of the set's short prints) that I just started a collection. Currently, I have around 70 or so. Too bad Last Will got restricted to...

    Cyber Phoenix vs Don Zaloog

    Don's effect occurs during Sub Step 4 of the Damage Step (Apply Damage) while Cyber Phoenix's effect occurs during Sub Step 6, when monsters are sent to the graveyard.

    Majestic Mech - Goryu preview question{eoj}

    "¢ If "Skill Drain" is active during the End Phase, it will negate the effects of a "Majestic Mech" so the "Majestic Mech" will not destroy itself. With this ruling and the above ruling Entropy has mentioned, one can infer that the Majestic Mechs all have "memory" and will be destroyed during...

    What to do?

    Let's be realistic. In some stores, the format is single elimination, and in others, the format is swiss. 2 stores in the same general locality could run their tournaments in the 2 different formats mentioned. That is entirely up to the stores (and sometimes the regular players') discretion...

    What to do?

    It would be unfair for the store to tell its patrons to not come and play. After all, you pay to play in the tournament. The two good players win on a consistent basis because of their skill. If the other players don't wish to play, then more power to those two. It's up to the other players to...

    I like the low key attribute of COG. One of the reasons I frequent this site is because there are a plethora of threads to peruse and learn so much from without having to read flames. The threads and the majority of posters are very mature, which means there are less pointless debates over...
