Actually, looking at them again, Burden of the Mighty looks as if it could be quite infuriating. Cyber Dragon becomes a 1600 attacker, and the monarchs become 1800s. The bigger stuff, especially the 7 star+ really get knocked down. A combo of Burden of the Mighty with skill drain could wreak...

Necrovalley would stop you paying the cost to special summon it from the graveyard, and End of Anubis would stop the effect that allows it to be special summoned from the graveyard (but wouldn't stop you paying the cost- I think. I could well be wrong on that.)

I don't know about that, after all, pulling BEWD from LOD was always sort of difficult compared to getting it from the kaiba set. And back in the days when virtually all tribute monsters were quite pitiful, BEWD was a big deal!

Perhaps blend some of them?I tried mixing gadgets with demise/zorc (before ARA) and had some fun with that way- use the ritual searchers and gadgets to maintain field presence and fuel the summons... Mix up a concept or two and see what comes out.
