2 completely different questions

1) The nem CRV card Dimensional Wall effect only applies to battle damage done to the player that activates it, right? I have already saw two different texts for this card in the internet and haven't seen it "alive" yet, and one doubt that came to me was: if I attack with Don Zaloog a fece-down Sinister Serpent and my opponent activates Dimensional Wall, nothing happens, right?
2) If I have 100 life points, my opponent has 1800 lp, I only have on the field Reflect Bounder face-up, it's my opponent's turn and he attacks RB with a Kycoo, what is the result? A draw? Or does anyone win the game? (When it came to my mind I think it was stupid, but I haven't found anything official)

Thanks in advance

These are in the Card registry. Well #1 is and #2 is Printed on the Card.

Question 1: If "Don Zaloog" attacks and "Dimension Wall" is used, neither player gets the effect of "Don Zaloog".

Question 2: ***before*** damage calculation is resolved in the Damage Step, this card inflicts damage to your opponent's Life Points equal to the ATK of the attacking monster.

If you run into multiple translations of a card check the card registry here under resources. It will always have the correct wording.

That the effect of Don Zaloog didn't work I was aware... the question is: I don't take 1150 of damage, do I? (difference between atack of DZ and defense of SS)

Question 2: But isn't that the same case as have 3 Exodia pieces in hand and activate Graceful, draw 2 pieces but you don't win, since you still have to discard?
Doesn't the whole attack have to resolve?

Thanks

1) Unless a monster has piercing (trample), if you attack a face down monster would anyone take damage normally?

2) Resolving a battle is nowhere near the same as resolving an effect. If your Life Points reach zero at any time, the game immediately ends. So if you attacked Reflect Bounder, that effect would activate, you take the damage, be considered to have finished resolving, you're at 0 and lose.

Question 1: Would your opponent have taken damage from Don Zaloog? No. (Not unless you were equipping it with Big Bang Shot or Fairy Meteor Crush). So no you wouldn't take damage.

Question 2: No, the steps of the battle phase and damage steps are independent points in time. You don't wait for all of them to run before the game is declared won or lost if life points reach 0.

Thanks for all the answers.

About question 1, I know that battle damage to me wasn't done, but as I said, I saw 2 different texts for the card and I just wanted to prove to a friend that he was wrong too.

About question 2, as I suspected, sometimes I still do dumb questions or have some "blackouts" about all I know in Yu-Gi-Oh and hear fool judges that I have im my area. Well, living and learning.

Thanks

I've been there. Stick around the rulings board here and do a search on any card name you are wondering about. Most likely you'll get all the information you've ever wanted and more from the discussions here.
