A Change of Control During a Responce Chain

Am I just thinking to hard?

Cyber Jar's effect is activated.

For the sake of argument we'll say a Cannon Soldier is summoned to my opponents side of the field and, say I get a Tribe-Infecting Virus. The only monsters summoned.

I chain Bottomless Trap Hole to Cyber Jars effect to remove the Cannon Soldier from play.

My opponent chains Enemy Controller, tributing Cannon Soldier for its second effect to take control of Tribe.

Now a while back Curtis over at UDE told us that monsters summoned within the same response chain as Bottomless Trap Hole will be destroyed:
The Judges List or whatever you call it said:

If Player A summons Dark Paladin, and Player B responds with Bottomless
Trap Hole, can Player A chain Call of the Haunted to summon a 1500+ monster
and have it be removed instead since it was the most recent summon?

Answer:

Both "Dark Paladin" AND the 1500+ ATK monster will be destroyed and removed
from play.

Probably not a good idea to try this.

Now I'm wondering if this applies to a monster summoned within the same reponse chain but that switched sides before Bottomless Trap Hole resolves.

were implying that cyberjar's effect was activated manually by Flip summon.

couldnt you, with your priority tribute Cannon Soldier?

the monster did infact get specialed summon and is a spell 1 ignition. so wouldnt that mean that you could do his effect before the opponent even responds to the summon with Bottomless Trap Hole? or are we implying that you did pass up priority.

Yes, you could.

But what's being asked here anyway?

If Player1 uses Priority to tribute Cannon Soldier, he/she may do so and tribute away.

Player2 has no reason to activate Bottomless Trap Hole now... unless other monsters were summoned along with it, there is no other reason to.

Just for the sake my health, lets just say Mystic Plasma Zone was active on the field >.<

I thought the question was if Tribe-Infecting Virus were Special Summoned to Player1's field and Player2's field recieves a Cannon Soldier, Player1 then activates Bottomless Trap Hole, Player2 chains Enemy Controller tributing Cannon Soldier to gain control of Tribe-Infecting Virus, then Tribe-Infecting Virus is to be removed and so on.

That shouldn't work since Bottomless Trap Hole destroys monsters summoned onto your opponent's field.
