A Dark Valley/Dark World combination

Necro means dark, right? Right?...oh well...

Something a fellow player thought of. Why not combine the attacking power and advantages of a GK deck with the discarding advantages of the Dark World monsters? It still needs tweaking. Here it is:

Monsters:
Gravekeeper's Chief
Gravekeeper's Assailant x2
Gravekeeper's Spear Soldier x2
Gravekeeper's Spy x3
Exiled Force
Cyber Jar
Brron, Mad King of Dark World x2
Broww, Huntsman of Dark World
Sillva, Warlord of Dark World
Goldd, Wu-Lord of Dark World x2

Spells:
Terraforming
Necrovalley x3
Dark World Lightning x3
Heavy Storm
Mystical Space Typhoon
Smashing Ground 2x
Nobleman of Crossout
Dark Hole
Gateway to Dark World x2 (just in case I have no Necrovalley on the field)
Royal Tribute x2 (d'oh! how could I forget those?)
Card Destruction

Traps:
Rite of Spirit x2
Dark Deal x2
The Forces of Darkness (ditto as gateway...)
Bottomless Trap Hole
Torrential Tribute

Fixes, anyone?

Tasty indeed! Have you thought about changing the ratio slightly to get an extra Sillva or Goldd in the mix? Those are definitely the power houses of the Dark Worlders. I'm thinking -1 Broww and +1 Goldd would be quite tasty.

I must've been having a blonde moment when typing that decklist...-_-;

Added in, to make it 41.

<tapping my chin> Something you might want to try...just try...I haven't yet....is instead of Terraforming a Mystic Plasma Zone. Let me know if you do and how it works out. IF I was playing purely Dark World monsters I'd have two copies of Mystic Plasma Zone in my deck giving them the extra punch some of the lower attackers need. It might very well work out in this deck as well.

*EDIT* On second thought...that's going to bring the def. of your Gravekeeper's Spy down too far....nevermind!

No no, thanks for the idea. If I run it purely for Dark World, Mystic Plasma Zone would come in handy. Gives me some ideas for a side-deck, too. GK/DW maindecked and swap it for purely DW when the situation calls for it.

So true...I might play it, but that means dropping one out I think (and finding somebody willing to trade away his/her Sphinx). Is 5 Tributes too much?

In THIS deck I don't believe 5 tribute monstes is too many considering you'll probably be special summoning 3 of the 5. As well I don't think adding a 17th monster and bringing your deck total to 41 will hurt you at all.

-1 Mystic Swordsman LV2
+1 Tsukuyomi

You have Spear Soldier and Nobleman of Crossout to punish your opponent for putting monsters face down. In my eyes you don't really need Mystic Swordsman LV2...or better put I think you can make better use of the space.

Tsukuyomi+ Gravekeeper's Spy give YOU swarming ability
Tsukuyomi + Morphing Jar can be even MORE deadly swarming with Dark World monsters.

For swarming you might try Swords of Concealing Light + Dark World Lighting....if nothing else Swords of Concealing Light will give your Gravekeeper's Spear Soldier targets for 2 turns.
