and then play creator swap and bash the imortals brains in and take his stafe (because he no longer needs it ) will my opponet die

i think that he is different from wich because the you part is not apling to aneone yet so by my opponet fliping him the you appart is applied to him becaused you ganed 3000 and now the you lose 5000 is linked toyou

the reason wich workes only your grave yard because there is no other effect and the you is linked to it being your card so you get to use the effect

the reason he is different is because the you is linked to my opponet when he flipes and gives him 3000 so the the you lose 5000 should be chaned to him if

if i am wrong then when he flipes even thow i played creator swap and my opponet controles him will i get the 3000 extra life ponts since the you lose part aplies to me (if i am wrong about my little thery)

If it doesn't use the chain, if the event trying to be negated can not be chained to, that rule does not apply.

Negate Attack, and Horn of Heaven follow response timing rules. If the timing for one is correct than the timing for many are correct.

So if we go by that, what of the Vampire Lord scenario?

According the logic you are presenting, i would not be able to because V-Lord's effect is chained. But i thought Horn could because it doesn't follow the same rules? Thats' because it can't be used that way at all.

It's quite clear that the ruling is erroneous, and this is an example of trying to explain a ruling that doesn't make sense.

Regardless if it is a chained effect or not, you cannot use Counter Traps in that manner.

"The basic rule is that Counter Traps can only be used against the card they are immediately following in a chain"

"the card" is representative of both a Monster Card or a Spell/Trap, a chain then results, if in response to a Monster Card.

Thought that you would've been able to use Horn of Heaven as (as people have priviously worded it on this site) the summoning was the last 'fact' to have occured, since the cards in the chain haven't yet resolved, and as such it's like activating both a Mirror Force and a Magical Cylinder in response to an attack declaration, since until the chain resolves the last 'fact' was the attack declaration you can add other traps which are activated in response to the declaration of an attack.
