A Twiggy Production~@!

I was thinking more along the lines of 'a T.K. joint". :D

Let me ask you this. What do you most often wish you had when you go to use our side board? Are the Cyber Dragons really a consistantly usable option? With all the monster spell destruction running around these days, what ever happend to good ol' Judgment of Anubis?

I don't have Dark Magician of Chaos. Not really a big fan of him either. Kind of a waste of space IMO. I'll be getting hit with double Bottomless Trap Hole as it is, so I don't need to give them another target to hit it with.

Regardless of weather your DMOC gets hit by BTH or not, as long as Magical Dimension resolves and DMOC isn't negated it's a toss up as to who comes out on top. You tribute a monster (likely one that was going to get run over by battle anyway or destroyed by Sakuretsu Armor, Nobleman of Crossout, etc.) by using Magical Dimension. So, in practical application you come out ahead, lets look at a typical scenario...

I flip up Magical Merchant and gain a S/T. Now Magical Merchant is exposed and vulnerable. I set Magical Dimension and end my turn. My opponent figures what the heck? I'll take a shot at that monster and summons Elemental Hero Wildheart. Now Wildheart takes a swing at you, you activate Magical Dimension and tribute Magical Merchant destroying Wildheart and special summoning DMOC, your opponent chains BTH to the effect of DMOC.

So in the end lets look at the results...

You've lost Magical Merchant (but he was going to get mugged anyway

You've spent a Magical Dimension (but saved your LP and destroyed Wildheart)

You've lost DMOC

You've gained a S/T from Magical Merchant

You've gained a Spell Card from DMOC

Your opponent has lost Wildheart

Your opponent has spent their BTH

So even if DMOC was lost to BTH you end up with the spell card of your choice in your graveyard and saved your life points as well as clearing the way for your next turn. Seems like a fair trade off to me, and if DMOC doesn't get spent by a BTH you're way on top.

Actually John, it's one or the other with Magical Dimemnsion and DMoC. You either destroy an opponent's monster OR you get a Spell card from the GY. If you choose to destroy Wildheart, you miss the timing for DMoC.
(edit) missed the timing myself on that post.

<snapping fingers> Ya got me there <shrug> As Burt Reynolds used to say, "It seemed like a good idea at the time!"

Even faced with that, I don't see it as a disadvatage, however, we all play differently. Even if you don't like DMOC I could see a Magical Dimension in this deck.
