Ancient Gear Factory

I could be wrong, but, arent you just removing "monsters" that are named Ancient Gear like you would for Skull Lair?

Remove 2 Ancient Gear Beast (12-Stars), or 3 Ancient Gear Soldier's (12-Stars) to Summon "1" Ancient Gear Beast (6-Stars)

Remove 2 Ancient Gear Beast (12-Stars) and 2 Ancient Gear (4-Stars) or 1 Ancient Gear Soldier (4-Stars), to summon "1" Ancient Gear Golem (8-Stars)

Ancient Gear Factory
Normal Spell

Select 1 monster in your hand that includes "Ancient Gear" in its card name (show the monster to your opponent). Remove from play cards in your Graveyard that include "Ancient Gear" in their card name(s) whose total Levels are equal to double the selected card's. You don't have to Tribute when you Normal Summon the selected card this turn.

Nobody said you had to remove one big monster either...lol.

Cropz stated you had to be able to remove 12/16 levels worth of monsters before.

but you can't activate 'Ancient Gear Factory' if you can't remove (as of now) 12/16 levels
That's why I said, correct me if I am wrong...

That statement makes it sound like there is no way you can accomplish the effect "as of now", because there are no 12-Star or 16-Star Monsters.

Doh... getting nitpicky, aren't you? You must remove for a total of 12 to 16 (depending on the monster) of total stars....

But that's WRONG.

The effect CAN be accomplished, because you can use more than one monster. The master of wooing women isn't being nitpicky. He's just right.

and here I thought it was obvious that I meant "monsters whose stars sum 12/16"... I mean... there isn't any 16 star monster in the game.
of course the effect can be fulfilled, I never said it can't.

And that's just how easily things can be misunderstood.

Clarity in your mind doesnt always equal clarity in everyone else's and it can easily be mistaken that what you meant is not what is interpreted.

Is it easier to say,

Ancient Gear Factory allows you to remove monsters in your Graveyard for

Ancient Gear Golem = 2 Ancient Gear Beast + 1 Ancient Gear Soldier (16 Star)

Ancient Gear Beast = 2 Ancient Gear Beast (12 Star)

As of now, those are the only tribute monsters whose name include "Ancient Gear".

And just to further muddle things up, I might point out that your post suggests that you have to remove Tribute Monsters for the effect of Ancient Gear Factory, when in fact you could remove combinations of below 4 star "Ancient Gear" Monsters such as Ancient Gear or Ancient Gear Cannon

Au Contraire...

If you looked at my first post example on page 1, I utilized the itsy-bitsy Ancient Gear's to show that you could also combine the smaller ones as well.
