The best thing to do is keep hitting up the rules forums here and potentially other places (the only other place I'd recommend is Yugioh Realms). Read the question to a new thread and think about how you would rule it or what the answer is. Then see what people are answering. Usually you'll find some veteran or well knowledged folks have the answer and you can compare it to yours.
After you've done this for a while and feel confident enough, start posting the answer yourself if you're the first one to the thread. If you're wrong, then one of the veterans will hopefully explain why you are wrong and post the correct answer. As this process continues, you'll continue to gather the knowledge about the game and its mechanics. You can use RONIN too to look up the rulings for certain cards and often help gauge what your answer will be. I like to wait first before using RONIN not because its inaccurate, but I'd rather have a working knowledge of the game to base my rules and then use RONIN to back it up or help me find the exceptions to the rule.
This is the path I have taken to date and it hasn't failed me since. And by having my wrong answers corrected, it keeps me humble enough to continue to realize I don't know everything 8^D
Hope this helps!
