hiya guys, i was doing some deck editing and i have alot of choices for tribute engines. I mean, i can choose from hydrogeddons, Nimbles, Apprentice,Petens,GK Spy,Giant Germ Etc. so, i just wanted to ask your opinion's, who is the best tribute engine? And why do you think so? IMHO, i would have to say its a tie Bewteen GK Spy, because of her high def, or Hydrogeddon's, because its Very offensive.

Like anything else, it depends on the rest of the deck and why are you tributing them?

For starters the best choice would be Treeborn Frog since it will come back. After that would include Sangan (card to the hand) and Destiny Hero - Malicious (like Peten, but better and has far better support cards).

Further, since Hydrogeddon is basically an aggro card, why would you want to tribute a monster that can bring another one by attacking. So out of the 2 you left, GK Spy is the better tributable card.

I've always been prone to Giant Germs myself, they work great to put a little punch to your opponent and feed a Dark Necrofear when needed.

Truth be told, Last Will used to be my favorite tribute engine. Play Last Will, tribute for a Dark Ruler, bring out a Byser Shock/Dark Jeroid/Goblin King to really lay the punch on. If needed I could tribute away the summoned monster during the next turn. 8^D

I like Giant Germ in my DARK deck (Necrofear, Dark Ruler, etc...), Nimblemonga in my BEAST deck and sometimes mixed in an Aggro deck just to increase LP's when needed but prefer GK's as they stop your opponent from using their Hydrogeddon to get more. Overall, it depends on your deck and why you're tributing monsters. If you're looking for Monarch tribute fodder, then all the above will work but as said, Treeborn Frog works great EACH TURN as long as there are no S/T cards on your side of the field.

I think the spys. well i like them and they can block some monsters. but if they dont and she is down here comes another.
So as far as engines go spys and the apprentis vendictive engine.
