Blast you!! Blast with chains

mikoal

Sinister Control
ok
player A plays heavy storm
Player B does not respond
Player A chains BwC on his own monster
Player B chains BwC on his own monster

so Player B equips, Bwc
Player A equips BwC
then heavy destroys everything

who has priority to destroy what?

So im assuming the turn player (player A) gets to target firts and destroy that monster that Player B is using BwC to equip onto??? thus disabling player B's BwC??

part 2

ok
player A plays heavy storm
Player B does not respond
Player A chains BwC on his own monster
Player B chains BwC on Gearfried the Iron Knight

what happens here?

Player B equips, destroys BwC
Player A equips
Heavy destroys all

who has priority to destroy what?

In response to your first question: Remember that effects are SEGOC-ed like so:

Turn Player Mandatory
Opponent MAndatory
Turn Player optional
Opponent Optional

So you would be correct in saying that the player who activated Heavy Storm would have their BWC be the first on the chain. The chain would be:

1. Turn Player BwC (target at activation)
2. Opponent's BwC (also target at activation, of course)

>>>>>>>>

2. Opponent's BwC resolves, destorying Turn Player's monster, BUT NOT DISABLING TURN PLAYER'S BwC! Why? For the simple reason that BwC is LONG GONE, and cannot be further destroyed.
1. Turn Player's BwC resolves, destroying opponent's monster.

You end up with a SEGOC event. The way it gets built is this:

Turn Player Mandatory Effect.
Opponent Mandatory Effect.
Turn Player Optional Effect.
Opponent Optional Effect.

So in this case the Turn Player's "Blast with Chain" goes on as Link 1, then the opponent's goes on as Link 2. Resolve in reverse order.

The opponent gets to choose what card to destroy, THEN the Turn Player gets to choose.

Nope, that's not how it would work. Heavy Storm destroys them both at the same time. The effects of both "Blast with Chains" won't activate until "Heavy Storm" has finished resolving.

Ooooh, this one is good and tricky..maybe..lol. Let's build the chain, then resolve.

Heavy Storm
PA "Blast with Chain"
PB "Blast with Chain"

Resolve in reverse order...

PBs "Blast with Chain" equips to "Gearfried the Iron Knight".
"Gearfried"s effect kicks in and immediately destroys "Blast with Chain", activating it's effect, but the effect won't begin until the current chain is finished resolving.
PBs "Blast with Chain" is sent to the Graveyard at this time.
PAs "Blast with Chain" equips to his monster.
"Heavy Storm" resolves destroying all remaining Spell and Trap cards, activating the effect of PAs "Blast with Chain", but it too must wait until the current chain resolves.
Resolution complete, now we begin SEGOC chain with both "Blast with Chain"s. See above response from part 1 for the resolution answer...lol.

Hope this helps!
