Book of Moon vs Snatch Steal

If my opponent snatch steals my monster, and I book of Moon that monster later in the game, do I get control of my monster since Snatch Steal would go to the graveyard, because equip cards cannot be attached to face down monsters?

No you wouldn't get control of your monster back. If you have a question on why, others can feel you in on that, this has been moved to the Rules board.

No you will not get your monster back since the monster is still under snatch steal's effect while F/D even though snatch steal was sent to graveyard but it wasnt destroyed.  So when flipped back up it will permently be on your opponents side of the field and you wont gain LP either...

Whatever you do, just dont use Giant Trunade to return your monster unless you can end the game by doing so. You'll just end up giving them their Snatch back for another try next turn, and maybe they will use your monster for tribute.

Here's a hint: If you have BOM on the field and your opponent activates Snatch Steal and targets your monster, chain to it with BOM to keep them from getting it.
