Bought a Booster Box thread today - thread :P

Yeah.  I know some folks that bought IOC boxes when they first came out and only got 1 Ultra Rare, the rest Supers, and not even Black Luster Soldier.

Its a shame when you have to trade off to get a card that by all odds, you should have gotten in the box.

same with mine, just black tyranno, like 5 supers, and the rest rares and a few SPCs. got 2 stray lambs in the same box. damn they tick me off

when i bought IOC i got my CED

and the other 2 boxes i got Gate Guardian and Toon BEWD

You deserved each and everyone one of those Secret Rares in my opinion.... If I paid $200 per box in the States, I'd probably quit the game after not getting those.

well it depends if they are the 24 count or 36 count. the 24 are the ones they sel at my hobby shop and they are $85

I think you missed the post that talked about this earlier. Quon isnt from America. Where he lives, the equivalent to our American boxes is sometimes more than TWICE the amount we would pay.

I bought them in Sweden at my local store called Tradition

221 dollars or so i spent on ONE box of MAGICIANS FORCE containing 36 boosters, didnt get the Dark Magician Girl which i was annoyed about

next time , IN JANUARY i will buy hopefully from an online store or order from someone in the USA that i hopefully can trust to buy me the booster boxes

Well, I'll toss in here. I bought my son a box of RDS hoping he would get a Creator. No such luck, got a few nice Ultimate rares ( Silent Swordsman, Monster Reincarnation, Pikeru's Circle, a Fusilier Dual Mode Beast ( he used to run machines until he trades for ALL 5 HOLO EXODIA PIECES YESTERDAY!!? WAY TO GO SON!@!!11one )

Then I bought a box of DB1 and got some sweet cards I needed. The new Holo Pot of Greed, Big Shield Gardna, Swords of RL and some commons I needed to fill out my deck. I -highly- recommend buying a box of these if you can get it for under $60-65. I got some gravity binds, 4 exodia pieces ( just need a head ) etc etc.

I have the WORST luck with boosters and booster boxes.

I bought a IOC booster box the day it came out because I was DYING to get my hands on the Envoys.

I didn't get an Envoy, didn't get a DMoC, didn't even get a Dark Mirror Force.

The holos I got were Black Tyranno, Daedalus, Freed and Gustaph.

Haven't bought a booster/booster box since (until two weeks ago when I bought a DB1 box) - easier to just save up and buy the card I want on ebay or shop.

That's why I don't buy boxes, as they tend to be a waste of money. I try to win them.

Well I finally opened the box of DB1 I had gone out and bought. This is what I ended up pulling from the box.

Ultra:
Dark Sage
Mage Power

Super:
Makyura the Destructor
The Masked Beast
Mystical Space Typhoon
Call of the Haunted

Rare:
The Fiend Megacyber
Cyber Jar
and a few others...

I'm thinking of going out and getting another box since I got quite a few useful cards.

Quon - If you want a place to try and contact in the US you can try the card shop that I go to, I'm not sure what kind of deals he will be willing to cut you but it is worth a try. PM me if you want the number for him.
