buying a box

Hey guys, i'm looking at a picking up a box of EOJ and well aside from getting the twenty four packs, i'm sorta interested too see what kind of rarities and stuff i'm likey too see, or is it completly random like your regular pack buying?

Well here are the ratios I got from my 2 boxes- I got 7 holos from each- The 1st box had 2 Ult. and 5 SRs... no UR... and the 2nd box had 2 Ult., 1 UR, and 4 SR- not too bad though-

That sounds pretty typical of what we've gotten since SOD. I've opened a case of every Series 4 set except SOI, and it's always exactly the same ...

75% (9/12) of the boxes are "stable", in that you get 1 Ultra, 4 Supers, and 2 Ultimates. 25% (3/12) of the boxes are "unstable" in that you get 5 Supers and 2 Ultimates, but no Ultra Rare.

Variations occur, but this is pretty much it. Blows the 1:24 Ultra Rare ratio out of the water too, but I've been complaining about that for over a year now. The real ratio is much closer to 1:32.

So I would say to expect a stable box with the correct ratios, but don't be overly disappointed if you don't get a single Ultra Rare. It happens to everyone.

Here's an odd one to mess with your ratios...lol.

2 of the boxes of EOJ that I've opened so far had 3 Ultimate Rares in them! One didn't have the Ultra, the other was short a Rare.

Go figure!

well what happens is that the first 1-12 ratios, beign
1:1 - Rare
1:6 - Super [This pack just is not a replacer, doesnt actually move up the count.]
1:12 - Ultimate Rare [This pack is a replacer, If the count could be 24 it would have been an Ultra, but sometimes the 24 doesnt cut it. Most of the time you can pull atleast 1 Ultimate rare]
1:24/32 - Ultra rare [ This pack is a Replacer, If the Pack is in slot 24 that basically replaced your 2nd Ultimate rare if you were going to get one in the first place, if you got your ultimate's then this is the 32 slot, meaning all your packs got moved up by alot. preaty much count your pack as 32 and start counting down to see what happend and you will find that you are possibly short on rares and have more of the other rarities]

I got a box of SOI and pulled 2 ultimate 2 ultra and 6 super. Hows that for a nice box. Care to tell me the ratio mess up on that one?
