Exuse my situation's all,

most of my situations are tricky, well o.k I never tried this but I was thinking on what I could do with call and trunade and still keep my monster.

If I trunade call and chain book of moon do I keep my monster and call? or is call destroyed because book of moon went through frist?

Most likely call would be destroyed and book of moon went through and I keep my monster. But, I never know... please help me out all....

I would like to get a mod's attention or "anyone" who can provide accuracy!

In your Chain you have

Step 1: Giant Trunade
Step 2: Book of Moon on a monster that's targeted by "Call of the Haunted".

Resolution:

1. "Book of Moon" flips the monster face-down. "Call of the Haunted" would then stay meaninglessly on the field.

2. "Call of the Haunted" is returned to your hand.

Call is not destroyed when the monster it is attached to is flipped face down.  It remains meaninglessly on the field.  Call is only destroyed when the monster is destroyed not when it is flipped face down or removed from play.  So Trunade will return it to your hand.

o.k my call says: "when this card is destroyed or removed from the field, the summoned monster is destroyed. " So I can understand why call isn't deststroyed when I giant trunade. But, I'm just making it hard on you just because. I need more understanding on this subject, about first in las out. I know it does not always apply but, please clarify.

Call of the Haunted
Continuous trap
1st edition psv-012

Select 1 monster from your Graveyard and Special Summon it in face-up Attack Position. Which this card is destroyed or removed from the field, the summoned monster is destroyed. If the summoned monster is destroyed. this card is also destroyed. ( this text hasn't been changed in card errata too has it?)

o.k giant trunade brings call back to my hand, then because of calls effect the special summoned monster is then destroyed. But, because of the fact that I activated the magic/spell card book of moon, before trunade resolves. Call goes back to hand right? But, (just trying to understand) eventhough it is face down it was still special summoned right? So wouldn't it be destroyed or wouldn't it stay since a face down monster can not been re-targeted by call. Call's targeting was I guess interrupted by book of moon. Disconnecting it's equipping to the monster am I right? Hope I'm making any sense. I think I'm confusing myself.. But, I beleive you but just want that understanding, am I right in my own way?

You've got it right. Book of Moon disconnects the monster from Call of the Haunted (which isn't an equip card so it doesn't actually need to be equipped to a monster to stay on the field). Thus Call is free to bounce back to your hand without any ill effect to your monster.

Again, you are right. When the monster was flipped faced down (by BoM or if the monster has an effect to flip itself face down defense position) while targeted by CoH, CoH looses its grip to that monster and stays in the field meaninglessly without a target. This is why if it is destroyed or removed from the field, it has no target to destroy.

Now, this is not the same for other equip spell. If the monster targeted by equip spell is flipped face down, the equip spell is destroyed and sent to the graveyard.

On the other hand, Spellbinding Circle and Nightmare Wheel still retains its target even though the targeted monster is flipped face down.

o.k thanx I was just seeing if I was right, and trying to understand in my own way. Yeah I can see how spellbinding circle re-connects since it can even target face downs. But, thanx for everyone's help as far as my situation goes I'm done.
