After the Light Structure, they're gunna release a Dark Structure according to dmcomet.

So, what Dark monsters are you hoping? I'm guessing it'll mostly be a Fiend Structure (We already have a Zomboe Structure)

Cards I'm "guessing" it'll be in

Mystic Tomato
Dark Ruler Ha Des
Goldd, Wu-Lord of Dark World
Sillva, Warlord of Dark World
Archfiend Soldier (They always have a couple Normal monsters)
Kuriboh (This might not though...)
Mefist the Infernal General
Newdoria
Night Assailant
Viser Des (Not too sure of the spelling, the monster Marik used that locks down 1 monster for 3 turns and invincible while at it, although the OCG card version is slightly different)
Sangan (Hey, best Dark/Fiend ever right?)
Card Destruction (I don't know, combos with Dark World and sounds "dark/evil")
Deck Devastation Virus
Ring of Destruction (Hey, it says there's gunna be alot of S/T that does burn damage)

Cards I'm HOPING

Messenger of Hades Gors (PLEASE GOD... but probably not...)
Devil's Sanctuary
Crush Card (PLEASE?!?! but probably not cause then the next SJC promo becomes meaningless...)
Shrink (?!?!?)

We already have the nerfed "Blast Sphere". I don't really see them releasing the better one.

Shrink seems like an impossibility.

Although Magical Arm Shield was a common in the dinosaur deck.....I wonder...

If this Dark Deck is mostly fiends, I see dark world monsters being a big part of it. Even the new Dark World Monsters coming out in Strike Of Neos. Maybe even some more new cards focused around fiends or dark monsters. Cards we can't predict here.

Oh, the possibilities. :D

And isn't Blast Sphere like Machine Dark? I from what I'm getting in dmcomet, it'll be a Fiend/Dark theme structure. (like how the Light Structure was mostly Fairy/Light theme)

If it's going to be the DARK version of the LIGHT Deck, then we might get an evolved version of Mefist the Infernal General.

I believe Maruno might be right. If they built the Light deck around the Airknight upgrade, then a Mefist upgrade would stand to reason. Maybe Fiends will get their own searcher, too.

For some reason I don't think it will be Dark World or Archfiend based. I am also hoping that it is not Tomato Control.

BTW, do we even HAVE anymore types to do after Dark Structure? I mean, we got

Dragon
Zombie
Fire/Pyro
Water/Aqua
Warrior
Spellcaster
Earth/Rock
Wind/Winged Beast
Dinosaur
Machine
Light/Fairy
Dark/Fiend

.... there's not that much else to do. The only real stuff left IMO is like Beast and Insect. everything else is either covered or really small/weak that it's pointless...

That's exactly the reason I don't think it will be mefist based at all. There haven't been two structures based around the same thing yet, I doubt they will start now.

I highly doubt DW or archfiend are even possible. The idea is to release a number of different cards in the SD, and taking either of these "themes" would require too many cards in doubles or triples for that to work out.

It will of course have mystic tomato. All attrib SD's have had at least two copies of the searcher that goes with it. Apart from that it will be largely fiend based.

I doubt however if they will stick as strictly to fiend as they did to fairy for the light. They can't rely on a fiend field spell, since there is none yet, and it was a lucky coincidence that shining angel was a fairy. Tomato is a plant however.

Keeping all these in mind, cards I think will be in it :
- DDV
- Mystic Tomato
- Hidden Soldier
- Curse of Darkness (since that's the translation of the title)

Card I hope will be in it :
- Strike ninja (depends on how strongly they adhere to fiends)
- Mirror Force (well its one of the few good cards left that need an easy access reprint)

I like the suggestion of RoD as well. I hadn't thought of it, but with it off the banlist, it makes sense they would use this window of opportunity to reprint it. Might not even surprise me if this was actually an alternate agenda so they could reprint it.

I said Archfiend Soldier not for Archfiend deck, but all Structures have a couple Normal monsters. And it's the best Dark/Fiend/Normal monster out there being a 1900ATK level 4 normal. That's the reason I think it'll have it. And yeah, Tomoto is probably garenteed since they always have the attribute Searchers in the structure. I also said Newdoria since that's the best pull for Tomato other then Sangan/Reaper. (I don't think we'll get Reaper here since that was already in Zombie structure. Probably Sangan will be in it though)

And I don't think it'll be Dark World based. But I still think they'll add Goldd, Sillva just because they are the popular Dark/Fiend cards. (Along with Ha Des, fitting the theme for Fiend deck)

And yeah, I seriously also think they'll have DDV in it. (And hopefully Crush card?!?!?)

I wasn't replying to your inclusion of archfiend soldier, but rather agreeing with Dingo's statement that it won't be DW or archfiend :) I agree with your statement as well, archfiend soldier is a likely inclusion.

I doubt they'll add in themed monsters like Goldd or Sillva, because they will shortly be the only options to make future SD's. So they could be useful in future SD's. Also, if it is generally fiend based they'll be stocked with trib monsters (dark ruler, GMG, End of anubis, mefist) and nomi's (necrofear and the ultra card) Doubt they'll then add specific mechanic tribs like sillva or goldd, and the necessary cards to discard them. I'd see Beigge in their sooner than Goldd or Sillva.

And yeah, crush card, but I think that's wishful thinking. Still stranger things have happened so I'm hoping right along with you :)

- Dark Attribute deck, with
- Magic/Trap cards that lower opponent's lifepoints via Damaging effects/new plan to play.

This "new plan to play" sounds both ambiguous and interesting. Will it be like these so-called "Senet" rules we should always have been playing with?

Yeah, I am not sure about the 'plan-to-play' aspect. Was there any real forewarning about the new Columnar cards like Rampaging Rhyno? (Aside from sneaks of the booster lists when we all saw something new was coming.) Did the judges get any advanced warning?

Well, that's because we should always have been playing with Card Zones. We previously only had 1 card that cared about them: Needle Wall.

Hopefully, in accordance with these "Senet" rules, the Card Zones will be numbered in future (thus making the "treat your opponent's Monster Card Zones as 1-5, etc." bit of the text redundant). It would make a lot of sense for them to do that. But that's off-topic.

In conclusion, the Columnar Cards weren't anything actually new to the game as it is. They just took advantage of an overlooked aspect of the game. The "new plan to play" idea sounds like it might be completely new, adding something extra to the basic game.

Ah right, Dark Necrofear. I think he's almost garenteed for this Dark Structure. I mean, Megarock Dragon was in the Earth Structure.

of course. If they adhere to a loose dark/fiend theme, I'd say it was an auto-inclusion. So chances are good. Still, neither are certainties in my opinion ...
