It only matters the last thing to resolve, activations of cards do not affect timing.
If activation did affect timing, the Turn-player having priority would always be able to activate a quick-play spell or trap card before the opponent could activate Bottomless Trap Hole, or mirror force.
You may chain an unlimited number of cards that respond to the same event, you could chain 3 bottomless Trap Hole, 3 trap HOles, a torrential tribute.
Oh ok, that makes perfect sense.
We're still responding to the initial summon. Activating cards will not influence the activation of cards like Bottomless Trap Hole or Torrential Tribute., and will have correct timing.
PlayerA: Normal Summons Strike Ninja
(This is the summon that had recently resolved onto the field)
PLayerB: responds Bottomless Trap Hole
PlayerA: responds Torrential Tribute
PLayerB does not respond
PLayerA: chains Strike Ninja's effect
This is as correct?
My apoligies, Mikoal. To correct myself, I'm going to explain a bit better.
The last thing to "resolve" was the Normal Summon of Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys. Activating cards will not not infuence the timing for Trap Hole or Bottomless Trap Hole.
When cards are activated in response to the summon, say your opponent's Ring of Destruction, you have not missed the timing for Trap Hole, because the "last thing to resolve" was the Normal Summon of Sacred Phoenix of Nepthys still. So yes, your Bottomless Trap Hole has correct timing. Your still responding to the Normal Summon.
