Effect Monster (Dragon / DARK / 8 Stars / ATK 3000 / DEF 2500)

This card can only be Special Summoned by removing 1 LIGHT and 1 DARK monster in your Graveyard from play. Pay 1000 of your Life Points to send all cards in both player's hands and on the field to the Graveyard. Inflict 300 points of damage to your opponent's Life Points for each card sent to the Graveyard by this effect.

This card is the single most powerful and overly broken card in the game. He's easy to summon, as strong as about anything else you can put out, and the effect is easily combo-able so that not only are you inflicting massive damage, but chances are you can set up the win if you hadn't already. At the very least, you forced yourself into an equal position (say if you were down) so that it becomes a top-decking race.

Like all cards he's beatable, and the addition of "Divine Wrath" may temper his power a little bit... but face it. The Dragon is good. Way too good. Like "Raigeki", "Harpie's Feather Duster", and "Yata-Garasu", "Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End" should enjoy a permanent home on the banned list.

i think he's only broken if he is comboed with sangan for a yata lock. other than that he is okay.

Not quite equal: your opponent gets the first opportunity to draw. Second you don't know what was in your opponent's hand, or face-down on the field, so s/he could easily have a monster before s/he draws.
 
ah, i agree fully with densetsu. i hope to GOD that this card and yata, harpie's and raigeki are permanently on the ban list. this card is way too good. even that, i had one and didnt use it just because i thought it was too unfair and made the game too fast. thats not too fun. and with the sangan/witch/yata combo, OMFWTFBBQ!! its just too good, and i do not want to see it ever come back... (well, it also depends on what else is banned)artwork is pretty cool though ^_^

It will be. At least until something comes along that SERIOUSLY handicaps this card. Divine Wrath, Hallowed Life Barrier, Sinister, Despair etc... just don't get the job done.

I hate this card with a passison. Even complete amatuers in Yu-Gi Oh can pull of a win with this card, it's almost completely fool proof. Everytime I used this card, or have seen it used, the burn damage finished the game then and there.

I hope this card never, ever returns.
 
I too, one who avidly loves Chaos Emperor Dragon, thinks he far too freaking powerful. There's hardly anything out there that can neutralize him enough. There is the addition of Divine Wrath with Barrel Behind the Door, Hallowed Life Barrier, Skill Drain, Solemn Judgement, Horn of Heaven, and Sisniter Serpent that make for viable defenses against him, but that does not really help all that much if the opponent has Jinzo or Royal Decree and Sinister Serpent can only do so much.
 
The one big problem with the Chaos Emperor Dragon I found is he is extremely boring. Both to play and play against. I had him and after a few duels I was getting bored, very bored so I got rid of him.
 
Im not a fan of this beast. You start a good duel outplay youre opponent the poof he appears not much effort the summon then bang he wins. Very boring and powerful. I suppose skill drain stops his effect but it still has 3000Atk.

again not in stone but this card sposed to be in the fury from the deep starter deck that comeing out late may , also current counter to the dragon is hallow life barrir, divine wrath, BBTB, bottomless trap hole, skill drain, also with painful baned now it a bit hard to get him out, not much hard but that extra round could be a game winner if you play counter to him, but one thing for sure if they unban as for the list right now i belive raigeki, duster, yata, fiber jar and change of heart will be on there til the end of time
