Columns and Rows, multiplayer

In a Tag Duel, how exactly does the column and rows thing work with cards like Alien Infiltrator? Does it only work with the opponent you're facing? And in the aforementioned card, could you put it into an unoccupied Zone in your partner's quarter of the field?

Obviously there are no official rules for Tag Duelling. You could make up whatever you want, and it'd be right for you. However, if you want advice on how it would most likely be played...

Cards like Alien Infiltrator and Blasting Fuse only work with the opponent directly opposite you. Also, you would NOT be able to move your monsters into 1 of your comrade's Monster Card Zones, because in a Tag Duel both comrade's fields are kept separate. Each player has a normal field, NOT 2 player share a double-sized field. Since Alien Infiltrator is your monster, you cannot move it into a comrade's Monster Card Zone.

Just my opinion. As I said, there are no official rules at all for Tag Duels. Some have been semi-officially published at http://entertainment.upperdeck.com/community/forums/thread/885501.aspx, but they are certainly not stone-bound law. Extrapolate as you see fit from these rules. I did.
