After activation, Special Summon this card in Defense Position; it is treated as an Effect Monster Card (Aqua-Type/WATER/Level 10/ATK 0/DEF 3000). This card cannot attack. (This card is still treated as a Trap Card.)

1). player has a set metal reflect slime. since MRS says, "after activation", does that mean immediately after activation and before resolution? meaning: a player could activate metal reflect slime, ntp does not chain, then tp chains to his own MRS with his own enemy controller (tributing the MRS that has not yet resolved, but is a monster?)

2). player a attacks player b directly with fairy injection lily. nothing is activated. during dmg calculation, player a activates lily's effect paying 2000 LP. player b chains divine wrath. end result: player A pays 2k, lily is destroyed, player b does not take 400 dmg. correct?

1) No. It is Summoned at resolution.

I believe that phrase means: if Metal Reflect Slime is in the S/T Zone as a Trap Card (such as if Jinzo or Royal Decree is played, but is then removed), then you can't Special Summon Metal Reflect Slime again.
