I have a question and I am throwing it out there for everyone to see.

Yugi has TER pumped with united we stand and atks for 4000, Joey, then activateds Magic cylinder, Yugi from his hand, chains to Magic Cylinder with book of moon, targeting TER. What happens?

My understanding, in the chain, TER goes face down, Magic Cylinder doesn't have a target, hence is destoyed. Am I correct? Or does the ATk still goes through and Yugi takes 4000 damage.

Magic Cylinder is not destroyed, it just resovles without effect. I'm just clarifying that for you guys. And no damage occurs because the monster taht was targeted is no longer face-up on the field.

no it does not
when yugi chains Book of Moon
the TER will be face down
and cylinders would resolve but nothing will happen

The damage will not be dealt. The UWS will also be destroyed.

Also, remember that any monster currently equiped to TRE would also be destoried (it is treated as an equip card), and TRE's other effect is also gone (until it is flipped face up again, so any other monster on your side of the field could attack in the current battle phase, or later change battle position. I don't think that it is possible to flip TRE up yourself this turn, since TRE already declared an attack.
