Creature Swap Resolution

I was reading the official rule for Creature Swap in Konami FAQ and this situation is confusing me:
I have 3 tokens in defense and it is my turn. I change one to attack position and try to swap it to my opponent's Breaker. He then activates Ring of Destruction targeting my attack token. Can I then Select one defense token (one of the 2 remaining) when Creature Swap resolves? Or it's effect Disappear? Thanks in advance.

Since the Monsters are not chosed until "Creature Swap"'s resolution and both you and he still have at least 1 monster on the field, "Creature Swap" will resolve. You'll just have to give him one of the def tokens.

Yes, because Creature Swap doesn't actually pick and swap the monsters until the resolution of its effect. So after Creature Swap is activated, following any chains that may have been linked, during resolution, if there are any legal monsters on each person's side of the field then each player chooses one of them and performs the swap.
