De-Fusion and Shuffle Questions

For my first question, De-Fusion, if for example I use Polymerization to Fusion Summon Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon. Then a few turns later, it gets destroyed. I activate Monster Reborn and Special Summon Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, can I then use De-Fusion to gain my 3 Blue-Eyes White Dragon? I was never clear on how De-Fusion worked after its errata.

The last question has to do with shuffling your Deck. Is there an implied ruling where any card that lets you search your Deck, you have to then shuffle your Deck?

For example: Hydrogeddon does not state you have to shuffle your Deck, but UFO Turtle states that after you get your monster, your Deck is shuffled afterward. Am I correct to understand that I am looking through my Deck for Hydrogeddon, but after I Special Summon it, I do not shuffle? Thanks.

For the "De-Fusion", I'm not 100% positive, but I believe you can still bring back the "Blue-Eyes White Dragon"s in your given scenario. The Reasoning is that they WERE used to properly Fusion Summon the "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" to begin with, and that 'fact' will not change.

As far as shuffling your deck goes, that's pretty straight forward, at least to me. Anytime an effect requires you to search your deck or to bring a monster out of your deck, you are required to shuffle the deck and allow your opponent to cut it. It doesn't matter if the card effect states to do so or not, it's a requirement.

BTW John, what's your say about the "De-Fusion" scenario?

My "knee jerk" reaction would be that you would still return the 3 BEWD to the field.

Notice that there is no rulings involved in De-Fusion that address COTH or Premature Burial and the fusion monster.

All of the conditions outlined by De-Fusion are met. All of the monsters involved in the fusion summon of THAT fusion monster ARE in the graveyard.

This question is though, a reasonable and valid question for the judge's list.
