Dinive wrath question...

I have a insect deck.
I am using a lot my ultimate insects.
My question is this, when I "evolve" my ultimate insect lvl 3 into ultimate insect lvl 5 (fullfilling the proper requirements to have its effect of draining 500 atk from my ennemies), can my opponent use divine wrath to negate the atk drain and destroy my ultimate lvl 5 ?
Or can he activate divine wrath when another one of his monsters arrives and my ultimate insect drains it ??

That effect is a continuous effect so it cannot be negated by "Divine Wrath".

divine wrath is a spell speed 3 counter trap card and therefore must be chained to an effect that is placed in a chain. a continous effect such as the attack drain caused by ultimate insect lv5 is not placed in a chain (because it is continous) and therefore can not be chained to.
