Mmm, links to cards is usually a must for me. :D

About the deck, I don't know. It just doesn't seem very powerful to me. People will easily get a card advantage on you because those dragon cards are usually making your hand dissapear as you know it. You may want to try more of a Horus approach, those usually do better.

But if you're taken with this type of Dragon Dragon deck, you should throw in a Metamorphosis, King Dragun can be deadly, try the Blue Eyes White Dragon approach. That's always fun. :)
 
It's cause I had the text a different color than black. Sorry about that. =/ Make suggestions in the areas you feel need it. This is just a basic dragon deck to have fun with. Nothing really that fancy. I do plan on using a Jar of Avarice or two in it. This deck is still a pretty basic dragon deck.

Personally, I'd say to replace MoP and Cave Dragon with 2 Mirage Dragons. But that is just me :) Also, put 1 Metamorphosis, 1-2 Fusilier Dragon, the Dual-Mode Beast and 1 King Dragun.

The problem with Dragon decks is that they need a King Dragun ( that means either Lord of D. + Dark Hex or Divine Dragon Ragnarok ) and since it needs alot of changes I suggest to check my dragon decks to get an idea and that's it. Of cource I have an answer :

When alot of changes are in order it is better to simply check another similar deck with the same theme. ( I am not suggesting to everybody to copy my deck - that is clear )

And finally , of cource I find your suggestions not enough - if he makes them you think he will have a decent Dragon deck ??? I think NOT.
 
I don't say that. I think, of course, it won't compete with the best of the best. However, it will work against normal players.

What do you mean normal players ? 6 year old players? The deck will not run well at all . I have played with many diferrent variations of Dragon deck and I have seen noumerous and I know that the dragon deck needs a way to special summon and protect strong dragons. That means : Lord of D. or King Dragun , Tyrant Dragon , Kaisser Glider , Mirage Dragon for the traps , maybe Horus 6 for the spells and the normal support you put to every deck.
 
DragonS, if people could die from close-mindedness, you wouldn't be talking to me right now. Dragon decks don't need King Dragun. Look at my Armed Dragons deck, it runs just fine with no King Dragun! His deck will work quite well. The only change you suggested that made any sense was Masked Dragon over troop.

Ok , I think that a dragon deck without a King Dragun or atleast a Lord of D. is just a normal deck but with them it is quite more strong ( Dragons become almost imune ) and faster ( special summoning ) . My main point was that in dragon decks that need many changes - according to my opinion - I suggest to see my deck to get an idea . I was not saying anything or implying that everybody should have a deck like mine. I am really addicted to dragon decks and I really like seeing diferrent opinions about it. I simply reacted badly to BenjaminMS saying that I did not provided an opinion and simply said to copy my deck :

Tkwiget I am sorry that this has reached to be a pointless dialog for what everybody really meant and not real suggestions for your deck. If you want to ask something about your deck please do so and I will try to reply.

Normaly I think the strongest version of Dragon deck is a combination of King Dragun and Horus lvl8.
