this is the deck of a friend of mine, what do you think about it? In the past version he used to run a Cybernetic Cyclopean, then I suggested to put in a Dark Dust Spirit instead along with a Soul Exchange... :icon_roll

Monsters:

I don't see where the Des Lacooda are going to last long on your side of the field. Since you're not using a bind deck and it's not a flip effect the likelihood of you gaining their effect more than once is minimal

-2 Des Lacooda
+2 Golem Sentry

You can special summon Golemn Sentry with Giant Rat if your opponent doesn't have another monster to attack with that turn, just flip it to face down def. postion on your MP1 and you have a 1800 def. monster that you can use to send back you opponent's monsters to their hand next turn.

Consider a Guardian Sphinx in this deck as well...another single tribute earth monster with one of the most powerful effects a monster can have. Personally, I'd use Guardian Sphinx over Grandmarg.

A nice side deck monster for this deck, especially if you're getting over powered is Enraged Muka Muka. This monster you can special summon with Giant Rat and you have a powerhouse early in the game....another earth monster.

Spell Cards:

I don't see Soul Exchange as being a highly playable card in this deck unless you add at least one more tribute monster. I know you're using it with Dark Dust Spirit, Grandmarg, or Ancient Gear Beast...when you think about it though the likelihood of you using it with Dark Dust Spirit or Grandmarg just makes their effects less likely to be used. If you insist on using Soul Exchange then put in the Guardian Sphinx I suggested, a much better combo with Soul Exchange.

Side Deck:

You're running 6 Warriors. You may want to consider a Reinforcements of the Army or two. With the exception (as the deck is listed currently) of the Des Lacooda it's an attack deck, not a lot of flip effects. You may want a Gaia Power or two in your side deck as you're not worried about it lowering your monster's def.
