end of the world question

i was wondering about this ritual card. in all other ritual cards, it says that u can go above the level of stars for the monster to be ritual summoned (eg. i can tribute a level 2 monster to bring out relinquished), but in this card doesnt say that.

does the monster(s) to be used as tribute for this card have to be exactly the same number of stars? or i can go above the level (using 2 level 5 monsters) to bring out demise or ruin?

or maybe....its because its a ritual card for two ritual monsters that it doesnt specify the levels....

The level of stars added for use with End of the World have to be exact.

It does say how many you need:

This card can be used to Ritual Summon "Ruin, Queen of Oblivion" or "Demise, King of Armageddon". You must also Tribute monsters from the field or your hand whose total Levels equal the Level of the Ritual Monster you are attempting to Ritual Summon.

So you need exactly 8 levels worth of monster(s), no more, no less.

Yes, it has to be equal to, no more, no less, for End of the World. This is also true for Contract with the Abyss and Earth Chant.
