Fairy fury

BenjaminMS

The Kozaky show
Good day. I'd like to post a Fairy-deck I created today. Actually, like most Fairy-decks: beatdown/burn.
I shall put down some explanation. FYI: I already playtested it. It won me 7 of the 10 duels, even once from someone who used a Traditional Format Deck.
Here we go:

Deck Title: Fairy Fury
Deck type: Fairy (beatdown/burn)
Deck Creator: BenjaminMS
Deck totals: 41 cards (5 Tributes, 14 non-tributes, 16 Spells and 6 Traps)

Tribute monsters, 4 total
Guardian Angel Joan (1x) Why? She adds to my Life Points, and has a decent attack. I don't pull her that often, but that doesn't matter. There are still other cards that can win me a game :D
Mobius the Frost Monarch (2x) While he is no Fairy, I found out I often need him. Just for some S/T-removal, which can hurt me.
The Agent of Judgment - Saturn (1x) She rocks in ATK-points when it comes to comparing it to her Level. Also, her effect is very important. She often won't be the destroyed monster when a Smashing Ground is played.

Non-tribute monsters, 14 total
Mudora (3x) He grows with every Fairy in your Graveyard. Considering the fact he often get's Bottomless Trap Holed, because the opponent's fear him, I've 3 of him in my Deck.
The Agent of Force - Mars (2x) He is very helpfull when it comes to beating the opponent. With the help of others and his own powers, he can grow to enormous heights (have this guy when you have 14000 LP and your opponent 2000 LP, LOL, with a Fairy's Meteor Crush :p)
Tsukuyomi (1x) She has a role of flipping the cards down. Can be helpfull
Magician of Faith (1x) Returning Spells from the Graveyard. No more, no less.
The Agent of Creation - Venus (2x) 1600 ATK for a 3-star is MUCH. Also, her effect enables her to Special Summon Mystical Shine Balls, which can be used as Tribute fodder.
Shining Angel (2x) Searching for Mars. Also some security for a little time.
Mystical Shine Ball (3x) Tribute fodder. See Venus

Spell Cards, 18 total
Mystical Space Typhoon (1x) Staple. Always helpfull
Giant Trunade (2x) To return cards to the hand (especially helpfull against an opponent with WMC's (Burn Decks in general))
Book of Moon (1x) Flipping monsters down: my own monsters (MoF) or the opponent's monsters
Terraforming (1x) Search for the key card: The Sanctuary...
The Sanctuary in the Sky (3x) As already mentioned before: needed in this Deck. Without this card, you can't make a truly serious Fairy-Deck actually.
Cestus of Dagla (2x) Giving more power to my Fairy's, and increasing my LP when the monster inflicts damage
Wave-Motion Cannon (2x) Stressing the opponent & making a gap between my and my opponent's Life Points.
Dark Hole (1x) Staple. Always helpfull, against Burn in general
Swords of Revealing Light (1x) Protection against attacks
Big Bang Shot (2x) Giving trample to my monsters
Pot of Avarice (1x) Recursion of some of my cards (not that much, but still CAN help)
Premature Burial (1x) Recursion of Joan or Saturn

Traps, 6 total
Bottomless Trap Hole (2x) Killing some of the opponent's monsters that I don't like
Ceasefire (1x) Burn. More comment?
Ojama Trio (2x) This is a tricky one in my Deck. He places monsters on my opponent's side of the field. If I attack, my opponent CAN have a big problem ;)
Judgment of Anubis (1x) Negating the Heavy Storm or MST of my opponent

Some last words: please, DON'T advise Shinato, King of a Higher Plane if you give advise about 'fixing'. IMO, he doesn't fit in my Deck (and I've got none).
Other words: can you please rate/fix this Deck? Thanks in advance,
Greetings,
BenjaminMS

I do indeed have a few suggestions...

First off, Saturn and Tsukuyomi are men. ;)

But aside from gender, I really think it'd be in your best interest to use a third Mudora as opposed to Goddess of Whim. The Goddess is terribly situational, will not activate on your opponent's turn, and all you need are two Fairies in the Graveyard for Mudora to have the same ATK that she will after a coin flip, but Mudora's will last.

I also prefer Ceasefire to Solar Ray, as it can deal more damage easier and negates nasty flip-effects like Magician of Faith, Jars, etc.

Otherwise... I can't think of anything else. I'd like for you to just completely drop Joan, but I'm sure you don't want to do that; I can tell you like her.

I would use a Ceasefire over Solar Ray. What do you mean big damage? You mean from Big Bang Shot? Get rid of Tsukuyomi. The fact that your reason for using it is "She has a role of flipping the cards down. Can be helpful"clearly shows you do not need to use it when that is your only reason. No duh it has the role of flipping cards, since that is the effect. It is a Spellcaster for another reason it should not belong. I honestly see no combinations you can use Tsukoyomi with in that Deck except for Magician of Faith and how easy is that to work out? You want to use it on your opponent's monsters? You have a Book of Moon for that. Ojama Trio I do not really see as a good choice. You could use some healing cards or some better Trap Cards. You only are using it for that 900 Damage to the Life Points, which you really do not need to do. You need to focus on your Life Points being higher so you can use Saturn's effect. Soul of Purity and Light is defeating the purpose of Mudora when it removes from play your monsters. Try to use 1 of it to see how that goes. Also, you have no recursion cards. What do you plan to do without recursion? Unless you really love Goddess of Whim and cannot live without it in your Deck, use another Shining Wisdom. These are LIGHT monsters right? They also have a LIGHT Spell Card you could use, giving that Terraforming another search target if needed.

Royal Decree is maybe an idea. I'll think about that.

Ehm? Tiso? Don't you read the changes I already made (post #3).
Also, your recommandations would only have a NEGATIVE effect on my Deck.

You need to update your first post as well with the changes. Right now in post 3 you - Goddess of Whim and + Mudora, but you already have 3 Mudora in your first post and still list Goddess of Whim to be searched from Shining Angel, which by the way you probably should add another of. How do my changes hurt your Deck? Mudora needs Fairy-Types in the Graveyard. Using Solar Ray does what? Using Ojama Trio does what other than make your opponent lose monster spaces and 900 damage in total? Ceasefire is a better alternative to that, which you plan to get. Using a monster that removes monsters in your Graveyard, which Mudora needs to power up seems a little shakey at best. Not to mention Tsukoyomi is a Spellcaster, so please tell me how she factors in your Fairy-Type Deck? Because the effect alone? Maybe if you had more ways to abuse it perhaps.

Lastly, you do not have recursion. It seems your entire Deck focuses on your Life Points being higher so you can use Saturn, but what are you going to do when you cannot even get them back to your hand or field or Deck?

That's called losing. Duel with what you have. This type of deck has no recursion, that's just how it is.

Since Fairy Decks seems to rely so much on life increasing, perhaps a [ycard="DB1-EN234]Fire Princess[/ycard] of two would fit well in this deck?

*shrugs* They indeed do. But [ycard="DB1-EN234]Fire Princess[/ycard] takes up space, which I do need for other cards.

alrigt, this may seem like a newob(noob =P) suggestion, but in my healing deck, this card has helped me ALOT:
Solemn Wishes.
yeah, mostly of u count it as a noob card, but you might wanna try it out :)

I run a pretty decent Fairy Deck, and unfortunately, the advice I would have given you, you have already stated is not to your liking.

In my opinion, Shinato, King of a Higher Plane is best suited to be in a Fairy Deck, and honestly, I have probably never gone a single duel without summoning it, or being able to summon it, at least one time.

Even if you never keep it on the field, it's Mudura food in the Graveyard, and returnable to deck with Pot of Avarice. But, you dont have any, so that makes it all the more difficult to go in that direction.

I didnt see any Airknight Parshath's... Obvious omission, or overlooked?

Not a bunch of serious suggestions - but food for thought.

If you want to focus on Guardian Angel Joan, then consider Arsenal Summoner.

With Mystical Shine Balls all over the place you could consider:
Order to Charge
Order to Smash

Also Ultimate Offering - so you can tribute summon something chunky in their battle phase.

The League of Uniform Nomenclature - get one shine ball out, get them all.

Backup Soldier - get those shine balls back into your hand.

Life Absorbing Machine - recoup some paid lifepoints.
