Hey guys! A fellow Monarch and I are going to do some playtesting over the holiday and I'm bringing a few decks to the table. Here is one I came up with a little while ago, but hadn't posted yet and was looking for some extra feedback.

Here's the gist: 8* fiends are just nasty on a stick and a lot of them can be special summoned, which gives you some advantages when you want to swarm. Plus there's a little trick in the mix, see if you can spot it... 8^D

Well, you'll have to drop one Metamorphosis since it's restricted to one :icon_mrgr

I assume you are gonna morph those lovely 8 stars into cyber twin and gattling dragon ? nice idea....very fiendish. Maybe add a TER to your fusion list, since Kuriboh is a nice morphable 1 star :icon_mrgr

Warrior of Zera must feel really bad in this deck though, since he is trying to "escape the temptation of evil fiends" (read the card text)

Hmmm....I think I know your evil trick....if you morph a necrofear (for example) it goes to the boneyard, so you can then activate a deal with a dark ruler right ?
 
I like it a lot, Dilleo. Or the trick could be simply slamming the Necrofear into an opponent's monster, getting the effect, AND getting Berserk Dragon out as a result. Nasty, very nasty.

I love Invader of Darkness. It's never fit in a deck of mine though, glad to see it in here.

I know there's gotta be something with Ante that I'm not seeing. I don't remember the text and the link isn't working.

Btw, which Monarch are you testing with? I'd love to see the matchups.

I love Kuriboh + Metamorphosis! So fun to summon that little furball.

With 9 8* monsters, dillie is nearly always going to have one or more in his hand.....so with ante, his opponent is more than likely gonna come out second best....nice idea, very nice idea
 
DOH! I knew I forgot something there! Thanks for hte check on Metamorphosis, and sheesh, 2 seconds in the Deck Studio would have told me that card is restricted 8^D

TER is DEFINITLEY a great option and I will throw it in there!

That's exactly what will happen with the Necrofear Meta tribute. Gutterpuppy and I are rumbling tomorrow, testing out the Two Towers deck too. As for Ante, here's the haps:

Ante
Normal Spell
Each Player selects 1 card from his/her hand, then looks at the Level of the selected cards. The card with more Levels returns to the hand of the player who selected it. The player who selected the card with fewer Levels takes 1000 Life Points damage and sends the card to the Graveyard. If a non-Monster Card is selected, it is treated as Level 0. If they are the same Level, each player returns his/her card to his/her hand.
 
That IS nasty. VERY nasty.

Awesome work on this Dilleo, you'll have to let me know how it runs.

If only I could go playtest today. Instead I have to talk about Health Insurance. Uggh.

To fill my illegal Metamorphosis slot, I'm thinking a Swords of Revealing Light or maybe a Creature Swap (would be wonderful to swap my Germ out and start the thinning that way).

Or just throw in the MoF instead of the Meta :D

Hmm, good point on the 4 tributes in hand. That is a pretty ugly draw and I'll have to figure something out. Ideally, I'll have at least one Kuriboh ready to stop some damage, or at least a Sakuretsu, I might fanagle in a Swords or MoP to keep things at bay until I'm ready to strike.
