Ground Collapse, Ojama Trio, and Spatial Collapse...

To make this short and sweet...

-On my first turn I activate Ground Collapse, then set Ojama Trio and Spatial Collapse.

-My opponent draws, and I active Ojama Trio and Ground Collapse.

Is my opponent locked? Basically all I need to know is if the Ground Collapsed zones are counted towards his limit for Spatial Collapse. I've heard multiple times that they are, but just trying make sure so I can stop looking like an @ss. I hate arguing when I'm not 100% sure about a ruling, so this will help me sleep at night.......I hope.

I want to make this clear that I'm just thinking out loud and this is by no means refers to any ruling I've come across....as a matter of fact I've done a bit of searching and can't find a specific ruling concerning this, however, here is my reasoning....

Ojama Trio places counters in your opponent's monster zone. Tokens are considered cards. Ground Collapse, on the other hand, makes no mention of placing tokens or any other markers in your opponent's monster zones thus in my mind there are no additional "cards" added to your opponent's side of the field. With that in mind, not having an official ruling, off the top of my head I'd have to rule that Spatial Collapse doesn't count the monster zones taken by Ground Collapse toward it's 5 card limit.

I've skimmed over such a question before but never got around to researching it in full.

Your opponent may still place 2 more cards on the field. Ground Collapse may only prevent both players from using the 2 selected Monster Card zones and does NOT count as a card. It's an effect.

Because Spatial Collapse includes tokens too, your opponent could still place two cards as Strike Ninja stated, but only s/ts could be set, so it wouldn't be a lock in terms of s/ts but monsters are no go for him because the only monster zones uneffected by OT are blocked out by GC
