well its the ratio.. you get a big 90% chance. which is better than 0%

yes but you have to have a store owner willing to let you scale.

thats the con about scaling. Not many store owners will let you scale.

but if you ask them if you could pick it, they usually dont care. :D

but for scale.. that means that you will be literally picking out the best part of the product and leaving junk, which then would be harder for them to sell..

now if you buy a box, scale and then sell the rest on ebay, thats your deal. you already bought the box nobody loses.

but when you try going to a hobby shop and ask, most likely you will get the answer no.
 
I don't think that scaling applies. See, today I grabbed the 7th and 8th packs from Target's rack and ended up with Shinato. In fact, Target never has 24 packs on their racks (maybe 12), and I still end up with UR a lot. I also got an UR Grarl card.

For the DC series, I have 15 Rares (17 total), 3 Ultra Rares (10), 3 Super Rares (10), and I believe Curse of Anubis is a Secret Rare, but I'm not sure how those work.
 
yes.. the ratio works mostly on hobby shop packs, not thouse prepackage packs you find at Retail stores.

thouse you never know becuase they get switched around.. So the odds are way off scale.

lol Too bad that is the only way to buy packs in my area. There is ONE store that sells the hobby shop packs, but they want $7 for Dark Crisis, $6 for Invasion of Chaos, $10-15 for any series before DC. At least they have Ancient Sanctuary for $2.50. -_-
 
wow, that is pricey. i knew DC when off print but i didnt know it was demend 7 dollars a pack worth. its not like you get good stuff in there anyways.

but since you mentioned AST beign 2.50 that would make up for the rest. jeezz pricey.

That is called 'throwing yourself out of the balance'. AKA that shop must lower their prices if they want to prevent customers going to another shop.
 
lol. I live in Guatemala, everything here is between 35-50 Quetzales per pack, which roughly estimates to 5-6 dollars per pack, no matter what set. DCR is simply not available.

btw, I went and checked my stuff, I have also pulled 2 Dark Magic Attack and 3 BLS-EOB (I forgot about those, since I never use them, and traded 2 away a while ago)

Does it count if you pull 2 Ultras out of the same pack? the First pack I opened when I moved here to Guate (LON) contained 10 cards including Dark Necrofear and Mage Power, back to back. needless to say, I about died!:)
 
why yes it does, also scaling the packs you win at regionals and shonen jumps is a good idea. you keep the good stuff, and then sell the other packs for about 3 dollars each.

Again not many stores will let you do this.

Good way of doing it but you will get kicked from stores for doing this.
 
well..u can also kinda bend the packs a bit...if its a bit harder to bend them u know its a holo...i did that and got a vwxyz dragon catapault cannon ult..(even tho i didnt want it) altho i have gotten a secret rare that i DIDNT want 13 times....*cough*Invader of Darkness*cough...
