I'm sooooo ticked off!

I NEED TO VENT!!!!!!
I was dueling my husband last night and I couldn't figure out how come I wasn't seeing my Jinzo.
Well it seems my Jinzo got legs and walked outta my deck after a deck check this past friday during a, or after a duel some how. I'm so mad I wanna just hurt something or someone!
I never leave my deck unattended, so I know that's not how it walked out. I'm figureing that I musta had a snatch steal happen or something like that and it just didn't make it back to my deck or I dropped it , which is very highly unlikely I drop cards I check to make sure I got 'em all. I am very protective of my cards, and I feel like an a$$ for not noticing until almost a whole week later.
So to make a long story short I'm now going to count my deck after a duel is over to make sure I have all my cards! Ug I hate that I can trust no one. I now have to locate another one and my deck is kinda broken w/ out it. **grumbles**
 
well, I feel for you. I, and probably everyone else here, has had at some point that painful realization that someting went missing. obviously there isnt much to do about it now but chalk it up to experience and know what to be wary of for the future. Still, I feel for you.
 
Well... look at this way... me being an old school YGO player, I'll tell you from experience, at least you lost your Jinzo when it's got like 50 million re-prints of it that you can use...

Imagine losing it at least 2 years ago... when it was just the SCR from PSV... and the fact that it was probably the most sought after SCR in the game and by far the most expensive around the time (I remember this thing going for nearly $100 for 1st editions).

So yeah, you'll be able to easily replace it with a $5 BPT Tinzo... But if you lost a PSV one, I can understand the anguish...
 
Its quite possible it was dropped and picked up by someone else before you got a chance to check for it. I've been thinking about tagging my card with that GPD stuff they use to track money nowadays. :)
 
Yea the invis ink would be a great idea then ya gotta drag around a special light to check it. I was realing thinking about at least using a silver sharpie and putting a V as in Virginia on my valuable cards then there wouldn't be any problems.
Oh and BPT Tinzo go for at least $20- $25. I just bought the new one at my local shop for $25, this just sucks! If I ever find out who got it, I'm going to string the jerk up by his toes. Yes and this woman gets really mad and plots revenge in the worst ways when you cross her. **laughs maniacly** I am the evil twin!
 
Wow! $25 for a Tinzo. I can usually get a 1st eddition for that price. I know you were probably in need at the time and thats why you bought it.

I have also had this happen but can't figure out how. About 2 months ago I was rebuilding my deck and realised my Swords of Revealing Light was gone. It wouldn't have been a problem but this was a 1st eddition LOB one.
 
heh...makes me wonder if we should start using all the common/cheap versions of some of these cards in our decks instead of all the nice first edition/holo/shiny ones....

I actually do that now. Minus some cards that don't have common prints. It makes me feel kind of sad actually. Prior to the common releases of the good cards my deck was worth about $300-$400. I can put it together now for about $100-$120.
 
Frankly if I didn't have to get some stuff shiny I wouldn't just because I really don't care. I'm not really a collector, I'm a player, so if I can get a common of something or a lesser shiny I will just so I don't have to pay. I like to spend my money on cards but if I can buy more for less I'll do it! I probably am making people gasp but oh well.
 
Losing cards is horrible, especially when someone steals them. I'm so sorry that that happened, especially to someone who runs an Amazoness Deck! You should make your Amazons exact their wrath upon the guy if you ever find him...
 
hey luvsdragons, I'm not sure but check with Evil Fiber Jar. I think someone found a card last week after you left and they took it to him. I'm not sure what card it was but it doesn't hurt to check.
 
sorry about that. I wish it was. By the way, thanks for beating up that fiend deck for me today. I decided what I needed to change in it. thanks.
